http://www.chicitysports.com/2009/08/06/at...es-and-twitter/ Article on athletes and twitter. Some athletes have gotten in trouble for voicing things over twitter. It seems as if more and more of them are getting in trouble like noted in the article J.R. Smith and Antonio Cromartie being fined. What do you think about it? Should athletes be able to give unfiltered feedback on things? Or do they need to have regulations and things to consider before posting their "tweets".

When I go looking for a jersey for one of the sports teams I pull for I generally have one rule.If I am older than the player I will not wear his name on my back so most of my t-shirts or jerseys have been blank except for my retro ABA Julius Irving All-Star jersey and my Harlem Globe Trotters jersey with Lemon on the back(for obvious reasons). I did love the Clown Prince of basketball Meadow Lark Lemon. So do you think I'm being a bit harsh when I refuse to wear a name on my back because the guy is younger than me or do you have a similar view?

Today the Notre Dame Legends team played Japan in a game CBS College Sports Network, will broadcast the Notre Dame Japan Bowl to a nationwide audience in the United States on Monday, August 10 (9:00 PM, ET; taped 7/25/09) as part of the Network's "Countdown to Kickoff Week" programming. If anyone would be able to record the game onto DVD for me I'd really appreciate it

http://chicitysports.com/2009/08/02/derrick-rose-tattoo-u/ Video showing Derrick Rose's tattoos. This is pretty interesting, but then again most NBA players nowadays are covered in tattoos. Having tattoos myself, some of these are pretty sick.

Payton tries comeback with Argos Sunday, June 7, 2009 MISSISSAUGA, Ont. -- Jarrett Payton has a new lease on his football life. The son of legendary NFL rusher Walter Payton signed with the Toronto Argonauts on Sunday and participated with his new teammates in the first of two scheduled workouts as CFL teams officially opened training camp. Payton, 28, was the Montreal Alouettes' rushing leader in 2007 with 852 yards over 13 games while scoring eight touchdowns. But he missed most of training camp last year with an ankle injury and was replaced by Avon Cobourne. Montreal tried to trade Payton, but released him July 2, 2008 when a deal couldn't…

One of my all time faves & at one time 1 of the NFL's top QB's.Shame his career was cut short by concussions. Two-time Pro Bowl QB Trent Green is apparently done 16 seasons after being an eighth-round afterthought by the San Diego Chargers in the 1993 NFL draft. "I feel this is finally the right time," Green told Foxsports on Friday of his planned retirement. "I've talked about it with (the family) for a while, especially with the concussions over the last few years. We all felt it was the time to do it." Green was released by the St. Louis Rams in February after his second stint with the team. His best years occurred in Kansas City where he played with…

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/191846-...h-madden-rating Hall is upset with his overall rating in Madden. Pretty funny if you ask me. You think he'll get back on top this season or will he fail and justify his low rating?
