The backfield and the offensive lines are just studly. I don't know if anyone in the NFL has the mix of talent and depth at RB and FB that the Bears have. If we get a couple of the WRs to emerge, the Bears could be scary offensively with the balance that they would have. The potential exsists for them to have two 1000 yard rushers if they wanted to do so.
I don't care what Griese saids, he knows he picked the Bears because this is his best chance at starting with Grossmans injury history. He might be saying he is OK with #2 on the outside, but he is just buying time and being a good teammate to the media.
Murcie from IL asks: Have you given any thought to having that restraining order removed? I really am a nice guy, dispite the repeated jock strap thefts, and I am sure if you gave me another chance, things would be different this time.
You do realize that he could have signed for 20 years, and it really doesn't matter. A team can void a contract after any season, and the only thing that gets paid is the signing bonus.
Until the WRs prove something, they don't deserve much of a ranking this year. If they show up to be a middle of the pack squad, this is going to be a really scaring NFL team that will romp through the regular season.
Yeah AP has been ready to go everytime he has been called upon, and might just end up being the back up RB by the time all is said and done this year...
A reoccourance of the same major injury will definately give you pause. It almost makes me wonder if he has a genetic disposition to where he has weak tendons. It will be interesting to see if this happens again.
