Damn. if there is anything that usually goes right for the Bears, it is the young defenders that they draft.

Most of the secondary really depends on the pass rush. If they can make QBs uncomfortable, this secondary is going to be one of the best in the league.

Apparently we get a 7th round pick if this guy makes the Browns roster.

Huston is no surprise... The guy was going to have to blow away Gould to make the team, plus with Robbie showing range from 40+, he was a shoe-in.

If a guy with Rogers talent hits the wires, you jump on him. At worst you cut him loose if he doesn't work out.

It doesn't bother me that Lovie got told. if you are a team you have to be on the same page. What really chapped me was that someone ran to the media. One idea I heard on the radio is that Drew Rosenhaus might have said something to help out his client Thomas Jones.

I want to know who the two bitches are who went and cried to the media? Something like this is an internal matter. Either you go to the coach, or you go to Benson if you have a problem. Using the media to do your dirty work is just weak.

More than anything I want to see the first team defense do a little dominating for the time that they are in the game, unlike they did against a terrible SF team.

No joke there. His leadership and instincts are unmatched by anyone else on the secondary. The kid can play, we just HAVE to keep him healthy.

I don't think Angelo ever really planned on trading TJ, they just wanted to see if they could get someone desparate for a quality RB, and getting a #1 or #2 WR in the process.

Come to think of it, was it Brown that blew out his achilles early last year? If not, who was it?

Achillies injuries are really scary. Hopefully they caught it really early, and give him plenty of time off. One false move and Brown's season is over.

Luckily the Bears have done the smart thing and gotten deeper on defense, so that even if the offense fails again, we can keep fresh on defense.

With parody in football it is always going to be "what have you done for me lately". Granted the Bears have a lot of work to do, but football is so much about confindence, that really I don't want to hear the Bears saying anything but how great they are...
