  1. Cutler threw what, 6 pass attempts in the 2nd half?
  2. Terry Bradshaw's highlight introduction. "Lions at Bears...don't punt to this guy."
  3. Kevin Butler's career mark is 1,116. Coming into today I believe he was at 757.
  4. Devin Hester...yawn...show me something I haven't seen before! I want a 200 yard return!
  5. Apparently you've already missed Peppers causing a fumble and Urlacher recovering. And a 15 yard Roughness penalty on Van Den Bosch. And 6 for Forte.
  6. The Bears are looking for talented linemen who can step right in and contribute. So, they're looking for guys who were starters for several years...but they're also not drafting in the top 10, so they need a lineman who fell for some reason. Guys who have had knee/back issues fall a little bit, and are more available in the middle/latter part of the first round, where the Bears have been drafting.
  7. HE played a ton of games at Wisconsin, started 4 years, but did miss a few games in 2008 because of a knee injury, same knee as now. Sprained MCL in his right knee in 2008, slight tear of that MCL in 2009 but was able to play through it in 2009.
  8. Lions visit Chicago for the late game on Sunday. Huge playoff implication matchup, esp. for the Bears. Lose, and the team is 5-4 and the Lions hold the head to head tiebreaker, meaning the Bears might well need 11 wins to make the playoffs...leaving them having to go 6-1 in their last 7 including a trip to Lambeau. Win, and the road to the playoffs opens up. Big game.
  9. Wasn't one of their other DT's out?
  10. He caught the ball a little low, but it never really left his hands. He had to bring it up to his body, that's the motion that would have been "Bobbling" it if he had taken his hands off of it, but he had a firm grip at that point.
  11. The interior needs to play well against the run also.
  12. Coming off the bye, with a game thread.
  13. The Patriots already have a guy taking up the same %age of the cap as Manning.
  14. If the Cardinals would take a mid to late first round pick for Fitz, I imagine the Bears would have had that done already. Along with several other teams.
  15. Personally...I'd go, but pass on the Bears jersey.
  16. I have no idea who the Hell this guy is...so don't blame me if he's lying.
  17. ESPN doesn't say that negotiations restarted...but it's interesting to see that they ran the "Franchise tag" article today citing an internal Bears source. That might well mean that there are some rumblings happening.
  18. According to Philly.com, the deadline for players to have their salaries pushed partially onto this year's cap number is November 14th. Thus, if the Bears could reach an extension agreement with him by that date, they could put some of the money onto this year's available cap space.
