Congrats to The Mad Lithuanians and Domination Inc for advancing to the finals. Great job this week Mad, I dont think you will find many people who were able to overcome Jamaal Charles in the playoffs. Also, Domination Inc looking for back to back championships in just his 2nd season. Good luck to Sweaty Betty in the third place game. Another great competitive season.

Id definitely be starting Gordon over gates. Id also probably go with Kaep vs the Rams, that one could go either way though.

Another possibility is Earl Bennett at $2.35, especially if we are targeting a speedy slot WR in the 1st o 2nd round.
I wouldnt mind that if they drafted another WR but it doesnt seem likely to me. Hester on the other hand is severely overpaid to return kicks.

Melton signed his franchise tender. We are no longer able to rescind it. We could sign him to a long term contract with a better cap hit, but he's ours for the 2013 season.
That being said, why would it be necessary to dump Melton to sign Moore to a 2 million per year contract? We could dump Hester and free up that amount. I'm not saying we should dump Hester, he's just one of many ways we can get under the cap to sign Moore.
If we could dump Hester and get Moore that would be a great move.

What Id like to see would be:
Bushrod
Louis or rookie
Garza
Carimi or rookie
Webb or rookie
Id only intend for one or possibly 2 of those to be the rookie, but those are the spots I wouldnt be opposed to drafting in the first 2 rounds.

I know its been discussed a lot already but my issue with how this went down is the fact we didnt at least use Urlacher as a stopgap until we can find his replacement. They didnt have to give him an ultimatum. I dont see what it could hurt to try to get him down to like 2.5 for 1 year or 2 with incentives after he realized he wasnt gonna get more anywhere else. There isnt too much out there in FA, especially that would be significantly cheaper than Urlacher that would be that much of an upgrade. We literally have 1 usable linebacker on the roster and still have some needs on the OL and need another WR and backup QB and now we essentially have to use one of our first two picks on a LB, probably the first rounder, and then we still need to find another OLB. Even then, the rookie would benefit from a season playing with Urlacher and could probably get some time to adjust to the NFL instead of being thrown into the fire for a team with an aging defense thats window is only another 2 or 3 seasons until they have to completely retool.
Dont get me wrong, I know Urlacher is a shell of his former self and isnt worth nearly what he was initially asking, but as of now its looking like we would have been a better team with him here barring some type of magic via FA, trade, draft. Would you rather have Hester here as a KR than Urlacher? Thatd be an easy place to get the cap to sign him. Im not even a Roach fan but Id even say if we kept him then we could have gotten away with letting Urlacher walk, but as we sit today we are down 2 starting linebackers who will have to come in and learn a new defense.
Edit: Id also like to point something out that I heard discussed on the radio. The game vs Seattle last season we had them contained all game until Urlacher got hurt in the 4th quarter and they marched down the field twice right through our defense.

All things being even Id have preferred Long, but I think the X Factor is Kromer. He turned Bushrod into a probowler in NO and wanted him here so at least we know he knows how to use him to his strengths.

Really? I doubt the whole story will ever come out, but there is absolutely no way he is completely innocent. He has contradicted himself numerous times and the way he is going about trying to clear his name is ridiculous.
First an off camera interview with Schaap without any reasonable follow up questions. Next this interview with Couric:

He didnt think to visit her in the hospital when she was dying? Really? The main thing that hasnt come to light yet is how this all started and the motivation behind it, but one thing we know is that he definitely milked it as much as he could for sympathy and that he lied about it every time he had a camera in his face.

If it was just Tebows skill set you were getting then he could be interesting, but its not. He is a circus act and creates distractions that completely overshadow any value he could have situationally. Even the Jags, who dont have a franchise quarterback and struggle to get fans to show up dont want anything to do with him. I would be absolutely disgusted if they brought in Tebow.

During the season it looked like you couldnt go wrong with either. Now however, after tearing his ACL for a 2nd time anyone who would want RG3 over Luck long term is nuts.

Just want to make sure Madlith and Adam were able to cash out on leaguesafe. I just saw your post on here so sorry for the late response madlith, I posted the info on the league board though a few days ago. Let me know if you guys had any issues. The commish in another keeper league Im in hasnt posted anything or responded to my posts since the season ended and he owes me $200 so I know how annoying it is and I try to get everyone paid as quick as possible.
