I wouldnt carry 2 kickers and 2 defenses. Id start with 1 each and then load up on rb's and wr's and hope to get lucky on someone. Also I wouldnt go into a round saying youre going after a certain position. Id look for what the best available player is and if you have a use for him. Also, if you draft towards the end of the first round dont rule out going qb with one of your first 2 picks. Your league is gonna be really high scoring and with qbs getting points for completions having a top tier qb will make a huge difference. The middle of the road guys like big ben and eli are devalued because they wont throw as many passes as someone like Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Peyton etc.
Also in ppc leagues you can get a lot of value with guys who get more catches but may not normally be appealing, like a Reggie Bush type. Guys like Forte are also a lot more valuable in those types of leagues. Getting a guy like Andre Johnson early would also be something to look at. WRs that get over 100 catches a year and over 1000 yards are just as valuable as most running backs.

Right now, I'd like to say I'm keeping Percy Harvin. i think I drafted him in the 5th...so I'll be losing a 4th. Do I have to lock into this right now?
No, I dont think we should technically have to have them in until closer to the draft in case of an injury or something, but if you think you know it would help to say it now and if you need to change it we can.

Ok everyone I am back from vacation and ready to kick some butt once again. Considering my team doesn't have much my keeper will obviously be Aaron Rodgers so I will forfeit my 2nd rd pick

Just a little before the draft so I can enter them into yahoo, unless people want them announced sooner.

Who are everyone's keepers? The rules are we get to draft one player one round ahead of where we drafted them last year. I'm taking Arian Foster in the 3rd round. (I took him with the 1st pick in the 4th round last year).
This beats the hell out of last year when I kept Tashard Choice in the 15th round (and eventually dropped him)

Ok this is what I have got so far based on whats on either private conversations with people, the yahoo site or this thread. If you havent voted yet please voice your opinion or you will be counted as abstaining. It does appear the smaller rosters are a go with 5 votes and me abstaining. If I missed your vote or got it wrong also please let me know.

Ok, Were gonna take away the wr/te flex position and 2 bench spots, so each roster will have 2 less players overall.
We will also move to a waiver system. I know theres only 5 votes for it and 4 against it but either way crushers vote wouldnt matter because if he voted for no waivers I would have to abstain my vote as commissioner to keep the number of votes odd and waivers would win anyway. I am just going to keep the buy in at $25 because a few people voiced concerns with raising it and the more I thought about it I think for us to change it the vote should have to be unanimous for something like that.

I think bowlingtwig may be on vacation...he asked that if an admin has his number, that he'd vote by vote or text I believe.
ya I have his number, he told me already he was for keeping the rosters, I was waiting to see if we needed his vote for waivers before bothering him on vacation but it appears we will.

I just dont see Webb ever having quick enough footwork to be a consistent LT week to week. Even his attitude drives me nuts. I assume some of you heard the snip its of him saying he didnt match Merrimans intensity because it was a preseason game. It just amazes me that the coaches dont acknowledge he might be an issue this season. We have arguably the best defensive end in the NFL and youd think Webbs inabilities would show in practice.

Also Id like to add that I forgot to include fleas team as one with a $5 credit because I was going off of the leaguesafe site and forgot that he had sent me a check for $25 last year. So if we did go $30 this year hed only owe $25 with the others I listed or if we go $25 he would owe $20.
I sent out the leaguesafe requests for 25 but if we decide to make it 30 we can change it. Ill just have to figure out a way to credit everyone. So just dont worry about that for now. Flea you can send a check again or paypal or do whatever works for you.

reduce draft by two rounds
have QB,RB,RB.WR.WR.WR/RB,TE,DEF,K as a lineup
waiver wire not continues,but stops before Sun games and starts one day after mon game
lets add more money to the pot? 5.00 or 10.00
Were at $25 now. If we are going to add money we need to know asap because I would need to change the leaguesafe account. So if anyone else is for adding 5-10 then please speak up now otherwise I have to get the invites out so we can get people paid up before the season.

I vote yes for the waiver
I don't want to drop a position, so another can be created. Just drop 1 or 2 position starters and the 2 bench guys
Its not really creating another position. We would have 1 less starter and 2 less bench positions. The only change would be is we would be allowed to use a TE for our rb/wr flex positions also since we would be losing the wr/te flex. It definitely isnt adding another position though, its just allowing an owner to benefit if they get lucky and have 2 top tight ends and want to play them both.
