2011 Official TalkBears Fantasy Football Check-in

I know, right? I reached out to him a while back ...maybe December or such and he made mention that things were well, but he was getting busy. I hope that still is the case and he is just a little too busy with either work or life to post regularly. -
I could not agree more. But this staff is stubborn...
-
Geez...just throw in argueably (sp?) one of the best football players ever at us! OK, second best ever! ...and since Gale isn't available to play Sundays, I say let's go to the #2 guy, Hester!
-
DING DING DING!
-
A great replacement for Manning. But I still contend it should be Hester...the greatest ever.
-
Ha!!!!!!! That line really cracked me up!
-
Bear down indeed! I may bitch up a storm every now and then, but dammit if I don't get amped up every year for the possibility what what could happen!
-
Yeah. I guess I'm just the sole crazy person here that thinks playing with guys for a decade and being the "unparallelled" captain of the team means you pick up on the subtle nuances. Is this not a game of inches they say? I speak for his knowledge of both sides of the ball. He know the tendencies of O and D. No doubt, it all comes down to execution. But having a slight inside track has to amount to something I feel. Yeah, to me it just looks like he's trying to get back at Bears management. On many levels, I can understand that. But, it appears in this case, the broken clock was right this one time...
-
You're too nice! Especially right now! (Maybe once it happens, but right now he's the enemy!)
-
I don't know if I'd go that far! I can't make that bet. Even Tom "Terrific" Brady makes at least one mistake per game. I never said he'd be perfect, but I think he'll attempt to play his heart out that game... Maybe it won't make that big a difference. But it's motivation. I do hope we blow his ass up. I'm being cautious here and think it's Saints advantage. Like many of my dire predictions...I hope I'm wrong!
-
C'mon Alaska, I think you need to give me more credit than that? You list the free agents we picked up, and who's to say they will have a major role in the team other than maybe Roy? The vast bulk of our team are vets. Vets the Olin has been the "team leader" for for virtually a decade. Ick, let's not compare Favre to Olin. What Farve's downward slide provided was just sheer joy to watch. I don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm not saying he will pre determine every single play and moment of the game. I'm saying he'll have enough to sniff out more than a normal opponent...and that the Saints are the type of squad, especially under Payton, that will utilize that the info to thier benefit. Seriously, are we that tricky at anything? I can usually predict plays from my armchair... Kreutz may not make a difference through the season for them, but I firmly believe he will make a difference in the game against us. How much, we'll see. Luck and timing are huge factors in any game. But I still stand by "advantage" Saints.
-
Yes, we will have some inside info on Kreutz,,,and Brown. But he has info on just about everyone. If he was the team leader everyone makes him out to be. He has a boatload of info to share... I just see it as advantage Saints.

Ha! Sorry I missed your other post! I'll respond there!

Nope. I'm for both as you could imagine from my earlier post. But, to make it official I'm for reverse order and trimming the roster. -
I think that may all hinge on how Kolb does. If well, then, yeah, he probably re-up with the Cards. if not, I wouldn't be surprised if he tests the market.
-
Wow...just wow. I really am disappointed in him. I seriously was wrong calling out the team on this one. (I reserve the right to so so for other things!) But, in this instance, I was dead wrong about the team. At least it would appear as such from the info we have. Blow him up D line! Get in there DT's!
-
I completely stand corrected on that. This one's on you Olin... Don't spend it all in one place when you short arm the snap to Cool Brees...
-
Wow. Don't get me wrong, I love you Olin, but F you. When you retire as a Bear, I'll forgive you then. Until then, you can F off.

He has a TON of inside info on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. He knows all the body language details of just about every guy. That will help the Saints coaches out tremendously. Yes, I'm sure we'll change some things. But body language and some of the other stuff will be the same. We'll see. If he's going to play one good game all year, my bet would be it's the one agasint Chicago...and as washed up as he is, I think he's got at least one good game in him if not more. Continue to drink the kool aid on this...but I'm not. The Saints are a damn good team w/ or w/o him. So givng his team the inside info will make our day that much tougher.
