  1. I imagine. Get rid of his favortie target, do nothing to protect him and don't get him a legit WR. Jay has to be thrilled. At least right now, I don't blame anyone for being irritated. We can put a positive spin and hope that he busts in CAR, that martz will be around longer than a season and won't make Jay pass 50 times in a game, that we do something else and picks up a great OL and/or WR. But, I personally am worried. This team has a tendency to rest on its laurels after some success. Look at right after the SB loss.
  2. Huh? Isn't he only signed through this upcoming season? Martz isn't locked into anything remotely long term from my recollection.
  3. Why do anything when what we have is so perfect? Grr....
  4. No. But, I'm still curious to your exact reasons for hate. But, if you don't feel like answering, no worries.
  5. Brian, There is a big difference between spending like drunken sailors like Washington, and sitting on the dock of the bay and watching the tide roll in... The Pats do it, and have won. See Corey Dillon, etc.
  6. F&*K!!!!!! MOTHERF*&K!!!! F&*KIN' F*&K F^%K!!!! We are giving too much power to Martz. I am saddened by this... I will miss Lady Thor...
  7. Glad to hear... I don't believe it is an end all be all, but it's a move to get better.

  9. yeah, you're right. I forgot that. My bad. No idea...
  10. It's becasue there's no news coming out of Chicago sadly...
  11. If Devin was a #1, Roy certainly can be...
  12. If a trade was going to happen, I agree...it should have been done prior. But ineptness in the Fo is no surprise.
  13. I think we need to resign Olin, Roach, Adams, and the darn CB ST player whose name is eluding me at this moment... I'm all for getting Lawson and Jenkins. But the OL must be the first pick up...a genuine stud. Mankins hopefully. Then WR, I'd rather have Floyd or Williams over the other guys.
  14. It it over-priced, but compared to some of what seats go for on Stubhub or similar, it's not that out of line. They do offer more shielding from the elements, more elbow room, nicer cushion, better drink options, shorter lines for food and toilets... It's not for the family in my opinion. It's for when you want to just get in with your buddy, and hopefully you are both gainfully employed to afford the day.
  15. GB was bettter all around except at RB and probably TE (hence please keep Olsen!)
  16. Meh.... I hope this isn't Olsen's replacement.
  17. Hmmm.... Not the best...but not bad. I'm intruiged for the right price.
  18. All those tickets will sell...but probably on game day. That's how I got in last time. i just went to the ticket booth and they had a handful of Club seats left. Big bucks...but what was a guy to do? I'm in Chicago to catch the game...damn the torpedoes. But not this season...I'm boycotting product and game tickets. I'm still on my JA and Smith boycott!
  19. I can't argue that WR is need #2! I still OL is 1...but Wr is indeed a need.
  20. I just simply disagree. I think we should have better ownership and management. Just becasue it is waht it is, doesn't mean I can't think it should be better. But, I do readily admit that it's jousting at windmills. But, I can't help it. When I see the clear logic, I'm shocked that people whose livlihood depends on it, can't. In all fairness, I never said i wanted a $50M WR...I just want a veteran #1. Roy Williams could be that guy. And I've never once argued that OL isn't the #1 priority. It is. I just see WR as #2. Just becasue the bears didn't adress WR 3 years ago doesn't mean it shouldn't be a priority. They didn't address the OL and it has haunted them since. They didn't keep berrian becasue he simply wasn't worth the moey he wanted. Thankfully, in that case, they were correct. On OL, we are in pure agreement! I'm just of the mind (or out of my mind) that WR is the next need.
  21. Dang... I swear any other season without a lockout, etc...and I'd not have a huge problem with it. But, this season, that will put us behing the 8 ball. We could go after O Hara or similar. That will lessen the blow. but, it will be a blow. He's not the same he used to be, but I just feel this season isn't the one to make that change.
