  1. I just read on SI on some thing jerry Richardson of CAR said, something in terms of if the opt out were included, the deal wouldn't have been approved by the owners. So, based on that, it looks like there is no opt out and we're in this for 10 years!
  2. I thought it was throw in there at the 11th hour? If not, great! 10 years of labor peace!
  3. I've heard from numerous sources, that the NFL and NFLPA signed the new 10 year CBA. But I haven't heard when the opt out's kick in. Anyone know?
  4. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...ag-olin-kreutz/ This bodes very poorly for week 1...
  5. Nice. I wonder what jersey numbers some of them will end up with...
  6. My bad! They had Wed off! Here's some hilites off the Trib... http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,3392704.story
  7. Agreed... Keep space ofr next year then if we aren't making a big splash.
  8. At this point, waiting and seeing is really the only option. I hope besides paying Forte, etc, maybe they want to hold some cash for next year to try to nab Fitz?
  9. I think they had THU off... I think they practice at night in pads today.
  10. True enough... But I think what got Cutler in trouble was dropping back...not handing off.
  11. Hmmm... Interesting thought. I'm intruiged.
  12. I sadly can't recall the other 2...I didn't save any printouts. I do prefer to discuss the rules here vs on the yahoo league board. Just some thoughts based on the posts from the yahoo board... 1. I prefer the draft order to be reverse order of finish from last season. I think that since it's a keeper league, since whoever won last year basically "won" and gets to retain a stud that helped him win, he should be at a disatvantage...and vice versa. I think it keeps things easy. And if an owner wants to tank it to try to get a better draft slot next season, so be it! It just adds another dimention. 2. I would prefer to reduce the roster. Both starters and bench. I like having a larger player pool to pick from during the season than a really long draft picking schlubs in the final rounds. 3. I would prefer all picks ups to be on waivers. I like the idea of reverse order and not a free for all. We all work (I assume), have family obligations, etc... And especially during Bears games, my focus is SOLELY on that game. So, I think having an order vs a free for all is just better. At minimum, I'd like to see the free for all start Tuesday morning, after the last game of the week, the MNF game. 4. Have we determined an extact draft day and time? 5. We'll also need payment info... If we are going with that draft (ie. random order), I'm happy to be one of the guys you need to help. Either or, whatever works best for everyone.
  13. http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=310123003 24 Rush attempts to 38 passing. Yes, Cutler got hurt and that impacted things...also, let's not forget the genius that put Collins in a Bears uni...Martz.
  14. Let's not forget our genius reverted to his old ways in the last game of the season and in the NFC Championship game... We go normal in those, and it probably is us in the SB...
  15. Yeah, but Terra's one of us! Regardless of how negative he gets, he bleeds the navy n' burnt orange! Skip Bayless is just a piece of work!
  16. Requires an upright QB.... PS - Not sure I mentioned, but I love your avatar!

  19. True. But I think that also means spreading the ball around more. Thus, making the 70-80 catces thing still a bit overwhelming.
