Cliff Stein Doin' Work
Amen. If we can continually bash Phillips, I see no harm, only good, praising Stein.

Thinking he could supplant Mills at RT immediately. Staff knows him well...- Anthony Jefferson, SS UCLA
Ha! You may have to settle for a seat on my couch in LA for the game! (But, I'll supply the food & drink!)- Paul Cornick signed to Bears

Man, talk about kickin' my sand castle! In all seriousness, I get it. But for me, I now feel like a have a person I can root for to make the team. If he doesn't make it, he wasn't good enough. If he does, it makes it that much sweeter knowing a little something more. I'll continue to make mention of anything I get through my wife's friend about Anthony Jefferson. Those who are interested can read, those who aren't can pass it up.- Anthony Jefferson, SS UCLA
I spoke to my wife's friend last night, and here's some bits of info I got about Anthony.... She knows his dad from her youth. His dad, had aspirations of the NFL, but couldn't break through. His dad coached him positionally at high school at Cathedral in LA (see below). Anthony's a smart kid that earned his degree. He's a very hard worker. He was raised by his dad and stepmom with a really strong bond with his grandparents. He has strong family bonds with his siblings, parents and grandparents. When she mentioned that friends of hers that were Bears fans were pulling for him, he was really honored and excited and said he'd do everything he could to make the team. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathedral_Hig...l_(Los_Angeles) http://www.uclabruins.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=207914112- Anthony Jefferson, SS UCLA
Good points!- Laymans thoughts on picks.
I could not agree more. I get why people are skeptical. Hell, I am too. But I'm also equally optimistic. We need to see it play out. But it sure looks like we'd made the right moves to get us in the right direction.- Anthony Jefferson, SS UCLA
I was at a wedding last night, and one of my wife's freinds came up to me all excited that a freind of hers was drafted by the Bears. I asked the name and she said Jefferson. So, I immediately knew he wasn't "drafted", but figured he was signed after the draft. I checked on line on my phone and found that to be true. She said he's an amazing and down to earth guy who is a really hard worker. She said he was beyond thrilled that he landed with the Bears. So, I feel like I've got a horse in the race and am really pulling for this kid to make it. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dspro...5&genpos=WR http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players...thony-jefferson http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/ant...rson?id=2552694- Do the undrafted signings start today?
Thanks. I was thinking so, but wasn't sure. Agreed...I'm curious what potential diamonds in the rough we snag.- Do the undrafted signings start today?
I can't recall...- GM ability
- 5th round pick
Why not... Odds are a 5th round pick won't make it. If this guy is innoscent, and is willing to sit at the table for a deal, he could be a steal.- Info on Langford
http://www.mlive.com/spartans/index.ssf/20...remy_langf.html- Pick trend for us...height
Is 6'0" tall?- Bears Draft RB Langford
Not what I was expecting...- Pick trend for us...height
I'd like to think that! At least on paper it appears so. But the only objective trend at the moment is "tall"... Also, from what I've read, all 3 guys are high character guys. I also REALLY like that.- Lovie Smith
- Pick trend for us...height
All the guys we've taken at tall. Some similarlity to Seattle's structure of tall vs small. 6'3" for White, 6'4" for "Oscar" Goldman (sorry had to throw in a Six Million Dallar Man reference for us old guys...), and 6'3" for Grasu I'll be curious to see if this possible trend continues.- GM ability
Good point. However, it's hard to be pissed off with how it's flowing on paper. And ultimately, that's all we have to judge with at the moment.- GM ability
I too am impressed so far. This is truly an exciting time for us fans. This could really be the beginning of something special. - Paul Cornick signed to Bears
