  1. Now there is rumblings that Tim Ruskell is still in the running and might end up the guy. If these clowns hire Jerry Angelo's buddy, who is worse then Angelo, after firing Angelo I may just have to stop watching until he is gone. This team is trying to take over the Raiders under a senile Al Davis' place as the laughing stock of the NFL. Oh and the Bears have NOONE scheduled to come in for an interview at this time.
  2. That combo might be an interesting two headed monster. I like the fact they are going to focus on running the ball and throw off the play action fake. The line is pretty big and with a few key additions they could be really good in that kind of system.
  3. Why don't they just come out and call Lovie Coach/GM. Pathetic.
  4. Isn't a GM suppose to be doing these kind of signings? I mean really? You are looking to get a new GM and you hire the coaching staff BEFORE the GM? Isn't that badwards thinking? Man and I thought Mike McCaskey was a moron.
  5. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...ns-les-snead-gm Here is an interesting article as well. Shows the other additional canidates and goes into a little more detail.
  6. I hear that! Sounds like a road this organization has been down before but they don't have Bill Murray to make you laugh.
  7. Bears | Interested in Les Snead Thu, 05 Jan 2012 07:12:47 -0800 The Chicago Bears are "meticulously vetting" Atlanta Falcons director of player personnel Les Snead as a candidate to bring in to interview for the team's vacant general manager position, according to a league source. 0 Comments | Share: Tweet! 8. http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2012/01/re...as_eyes_fo.html Truly how safe is Lovie, who is coming in as GM, and what kind of coaching staff they want in place? Things are going to be interesting in Chicago this offseason.
  9. I DrRrr feel that Ted can find the best replacement! hehe sorry couldn't help myself

  11. I agree. The Raiders don't have many draft picks this year to entice a new GM. Plus Reggie I believe worked under Ron Wolf as well as Ted Thompson. He also oversees their scouting department on all levels. So he has had alot of good examples to reference from past experience in those systems.
  12. Raiders | To interview Reggie McKenzie for GM job Wed, 04 Jan 2012 07:29:14 -0800 Green Bay Packers director of football operations Reggie McKenzie is expected to interview for the Oakland Raiders general manager position Wednesday, Jan. 4, according to a source. Hopefully the Bears don't sit on their hands and at least interview him to see if he has what it takes. Though I am concerned if Ted would even know what right looks like. After all he doesn't have his hiring firm telling him what to think this time.
  13. That statement would be a whole new topic.
  14. He is the emergency backup plan.
  15. I am trying to figure out why Lovie would have input on the next GM.
  16. Ted: "One restriction that will be placed on any candidate will be Lovie Smith is our head coach for 2012."

  22. Dolphins | Will interview Dave Toub for coaching job Mon, 02 Jan 2012 12:01:41 -0800 The Miami Dolphins will interview Chicago Bears special teams coordinator Dave Toub for their vacant head coaching position. I sure hope he doesn't go as it would be a great loss to the special teams.
  23. He would be someone worth looking at if only our front office realized things aren't working out under Martz as his scheme only works if everything is perfect. But Gruden probably will get snagged up by a team looking for a head coach.
