How soon do the Bears announce replacements?
I'll take the McCaskeys over Snyder any day of the week. Whats he up to now 7 Head coaches since he took over the team. He may want to win but he's destroyed that team

Forte played hurt all year
DETROIT -- After a season of wondering what was wrong with Matt Forte, the Bears finally admitted injuries played a role in his mediocre 2009 campaign. "I think [his health] had something to do with it," offensive coordinator Ron Turner said. "I don't think coming into it he was as healthy as he was a year ago. I think as the season wore on, that improved, and it showed." Forte dealt with hamstring problems in the offseason, then apparently hurt his MCL early in the season. "I think there was a drop-off [after the MCL injury], definitely," Turner said. "I don't think he had the acceleration or the burst we normally see from him. Yeah, I definitely had an affect." "It's a factor anytime you play football, everybody has injuries," Forte said in the postgame locker room. "That's not an excuse as to why the running game struggled, or we had an unproductive season. But everybody has to deal with injuries." Forte finished with 929 rushing yards and 471 receiving yards. Respectable numbers, but expect much better results in 2010 if Forte is able to stay healthy. http://espn.go.com/blog/chicagobears/post/...alth-issuesBear

Evaluating Bears WR
heres the reply I got I tend to direct people http://www.profootballfocus.com/about.php?tab=about#grad8 and this bit in particular: "I'll add something else to the mix too. Whilst we're pretty happy with our ranking for say TEs in terms of pass blocking, run blocking receiving etc. on an individual level we're much less happy about the "Overall" grades and indeed debated whether or not to include them. In the end we felt we should because at least we are providing food for debate. The reason I say this is because if you accept the pass blocking grade is accurate, how should this be weighted in comparison to their receiving grade amongst others? For example NFL Network recently did a list of top 10 TEs and to me it appeared that receiving was given a massive precedence over blocking. Either that or the people who put the list together had no idea about the relative merits of the gentlemen in question when it came to blocking and hence reverted to something they did have, i.e. receiving stats." The bottom line is we'd like people to weight and rank the grading how they see fit.... If they don't think penalties are important, don't use them. The penalty example is actually a good one because for reasons that go into the mists of time, we don't normalise them and we probably should.
