  1. Yes. He was offered more than the veteran minimum and turned it down. No other team in the league signed him after that. Peace
  2. We have no idea what happened. This is simply conjecture. Peace
  3. Wasn't he a free agent? If so, he wasn't let go. Regardless, I love Peanut but I think his time is done now with this injury. I hope they resign him just for a day so he can retire a Bear. Then, if I had a choice in the matter, the Bears would sign him to a lifetime service contract. Peace
  4. Sorry to hear. I would have liked to see him play in the Superbowl again. I think this may be the end of his career. Peace
  5. Can't agree with you on this one. BM was not good for the locker room. Pace and Fox made the decision to move him out. I stand with them on this. Peace
  6. You think it isn't better to draft 11 than 16? How about 40th to 48th in the second round? Peace
  7. They absolutely didn't lose on purpose. Peace
  8. As a Bears fan, of course I want them to win. However, a loss today moved them up five places in the first round which is terrific for us. When you don't make the playoffs, does it matter if you are 1-15 or 9-7? You still didn't make the playoffs. Peace
  9. Agreed 100%. We have the 11th pick in the first and move up to #8 in the second round. We would have been picking 16th if we had won. Peace
  10. Two of them were not his fault. Peace
  11. Gould 33 for 39 this year (84.6%). He made 7 in a row to end the season. But, please, go ahead and cut him loose . Peace
  12. Tag him and try to trade him. I would say a top 2nd round pick would be acceptable. If no one bites, keep him for a year. Peace
  13. Glad to see Forte score in what is most likely his last Bear game. He has been a great player and a true professional. Peace
  14. Please tell me what 3 games Gould lost. The only game he lost was against SF where he missed the game winning kick at the end of the game. He missed a 50-yard game tying kick at the end of the Redskins game - it doesn't mean they would have won the game. Peace Peace
  15. I think Forte will look outstanding in either the NE or GB offense. He may not have the ability to take it 60 yards any more but he will be able to work it down the field. He would be an excellent fit for either. Peace
  16. Agreed 100%. Peace
  17. I would agree with this on the professional level. However, I have seen high school teams who have carried over winning at the end of one season into the next. Peace
  18. If I'm Forte I go play for NE or Green Bay. He would be perfect in either offense and, I hate to say, will have a better chance to win a SB. Peace
  19. Gould's 50-yard field goal sealed the game while the Bucs kicker missed a 53 yarder. Gould is now 31-37 for the year (7-9 from 50+ yards). Peace
  20. Miller has played outstanding. SMC needs to go. Peace
  21. That was all on Porter who slowed down coming up to the play. He should have simply broken the pass up. Peace
  22. Tag him Peace
  23. Merry Christmas, everyone!!! Peace
  24. Down 21 points with 8 minutes to go, there was no way we were going to win that game. Peace
  25. I am beginning to not like Fox. 8 minutes left down 3 TDs and Cutler was still in the game. Down 3 touchdowns with under 2 minutes and Cutler is in the game. Why not get Fales some reps? Why risk Cutler getting hurt? Also, Long most move back to RT next year. Peace
