On the Oline: Tait - needs to move to RT where he was a better player at KC Metcalf - sucks and blows; he must go. Please, please, please play Beekman for the rest of the yr to see what he has. Kruetz - level of play has definately slipped; still one of the best but not the top in the league anymore; he stays. Hopefully, if we strengthen the guard play around him, he will not try to over compensate for the crap we had. Garza - Needs to be upgraded but better than Metcalf. May need to stay depending on how we upgrade the line. Would like to have him as the 3rd guard. Miller - sucks and blows; he must go. Best possible scenerio - Beekman plays the last 3 games and shows he is a starter going forward. He is the LG next yr. Bears sign Faneca and he takes over at RG. Draft a LT in round one and he starts next yr. Of course, this is just my opinion. Peace

Petrino showed absolutely no class with his action. I would love to see Samurai get the job. I don't think the Bears would avoid hiring a member of the 85 team to the coaching staff as long as they are qualified (remember Dent served as a D Line assistant coach for a few yrs). I don't want to see them hire some from the 85 team just because of the past glory (I'm sure you feel the same way). I'm sure if the circumstances presented themselves, Samurai would get an interview. Right now, however, we don't have an opening. Peace

I was simply noting that Berrian has stated he would like to be paid as a top 10 WR but his stats are not at that level. I would like to get him back but not at a top 10 WR salary. Peace

I don't think Minny is really that good and that the Bears are really that bad. Would love to see the team regroup and pull the upset given the loss at Soldier earlier this yr. Peace

Mike Brown has 1 more yr on his deal but could definitely be cut. Walker, Arch, and Miller are gone given their cap ramifications next yr. Lance told a national audience that he has made his 75% so I think he goes to the highest bidder which won't be us. I try to resign Berrian and Grossman and then go get the bes available o-lineman in FA. Peace
