BTW I am not sure what works best for everyone else as far as the draft is concerned but Saturday's work best for me. I think I might be home on Sept 4 because of the holiday on the 5th but its no guarantee that I will be unfortunately.

This is a risk that both players and owners are taking here. So far both groups are united and honestly I don't see the player cracking any time soon until the season nears and they start missing checks. We need to remember that players only get paid during the 17 week season. Not before and not after. Sure they get a workout bonus and stuff but most of these players could live without it. Its those game checks that they can't do without.

I am all for player safety also. But I don't get the owners. They say they want player safety and everything and come out with this idea, which sounds great, but then couple this idea with the fact that they are adamant on have an 18 game season. Something has to give.

The last time I went was right after we traded for Cutler. Cutler was there in a Q and A with Olsen and those guys together were great I thought. Cutler has changed since then but I blame that on the media. The dude can't even go out to dinner without being followed.

Lets just say none of the players show up, how many fans do they honestly expect to show up. I personally went a couple of times to see and interact with the players and none of it involved going because of management.

Between 2005-2008 the Patriots had a total of 26 picks and hit on just 3 of them. (Meriweather/Mayo/D. Thomas) He refuses to call Gostkowski a hit because he was a 4th rd pick where Brandon Marshall was selected just after him and Elvis Dumervil and also Ray Edwards later in the rd. He refuses to call a 4th rd pick on a Kicker a hit. I tend to agree with him as we have a better Kicker and he was undrafted. Just saying.

I would love the idea of picking up Gallery allowing us 2 move Williams back to LT. Then also draft oline in 1st rd

I think JA has learned we need those high picks and we can't trade picks for players right now cuz of CBA issues. This is a pipe dream but let's stop this non sense. I think we should move Williams back to LT and draft Pouncey but I fear that Pouncey will be gone by #29. He's had a good week at the combine. If he's gone I think we should look at Anthony Castonzo.

great point. JA and company have always told us what they think we want to hear, which isnt saying much. I just hope that they strike gold a couple of times in this draft especially with an olinemen in the 1st round.

When looking at combine stats for Oline does it really matter on the broad jump. People are making a big deal out of Carimi's broad jump but didnt think it was that important considering Oline are never asked to jump.

In 1st round I would like Pouncey. But I no longer want Nate Solder. I have been reading that he isn't as fluid as some of the others and his stock has been dropping. I fully expect Carimi to be gone as I believe he is the best OT on the board. Another person I wouldnt mind having is Anthony Castonzo from Boston College.
