  1. All of these moves are good moves. Low risk with potential for HUGE return, but of course it will also all be for nothing if we can't upgrade the oline. I'm not worried about LB and CB. CB just isn't that big of a priority in our defensive scheme as long as we r putting pressure on the QB. And with Briggs and Urlacher at LB we can put almost anybody nxt to them and we will be fine and Roach has been resigned and he even said himself that he expects the front office to bring in a veteran for competition
  2. Once I realized that this probably spells the end for Taylor it made complete sense. I like all of the moves so far. Every move has been with low $$ and nobody hasn't received more than 2 years. Low risk but possible for huge return from most of these guys. I'm loving the way the offense is shaping up and could be very dangerous but we must continue by getting some olinemen
  3. Zach Zaidman just tweeted that we have signed Marion Barber. I like Barber but this move confuses me. Can anyone make since of this move
  4. Vaughn McClure of the Tribune is reporting we have signed Okoye to a 1 year deal. I'm excited. Not even Terra can piss in my cereal now lol
  5. Like I said I don't have that much faith. Lol. But I will continue to pray to those football gods
  6. It was just reported on ESPNchicago.com by JD and micheal Wright that Kruetz is unlikely to sign. After I what I heard from practice today all I can say is oyyyyyy
  7. Sad to think Hurd is getting pd a lot more than Williams
  8. That would great to get Osi, but that would just be a dream. I don't have so much faith in the front office to pull off a move like that but I can always dream
  9. I absolutely love this deal. If he sucks he's gone at end of year but something tells me for him to agree to a contract like that just tells me he wants to prove himself so he can get pd again
  10. I think everything out there is better than what we have lol
  11. Terra I'm convinced that we could go and get the best guys available at minimum $$ and u would still be pissed. I mean seriously I can't recall a single move u have liked in my many years on this board. When we went to the SB u were still pissed about a lot things
  12. Its good to see that Lovie hasn't lost his sense of humor during the lockout. He was just quoted saying "I feel like we have 5 receivers with #1 ability". Can we please ask him what drugs he's taking cuz I could really use some of those. They must be some really good and expensive stuff lol
  13. Hay Pix ur memory hasn't failed u yet. U are correct. To me I don't think Ryan ever gave him a chance to succeed. High picks like that should start right away and instead he only got 5 starts. There has to be something to that
  14. Its alright Mad we all love u 2 lol
  15. Ur absolutely right. The guy has the talent. Look at 2006 with the Lions. I think he just got way to cocky and hopefully this is his wake up call. This is how come I'm hoping the contract is 2 or 3 yrs with a ton of incentives
  16. Ur right. Every now and then Pixote has words of wisdom lol. Love u old man lol
  17. My complaint isn't about Olsen being traded because I think Kellen Davis could be a very dangerous TE and he can at least block. I just have very little faith in JA turning that pick into something good
  18. I think this is a good move. I'll be very interested to see what type of contract it is. I think it could be an incentive laden contract
  19. I've heard that Sims-Walker is looking for a 1 year contract hoping that he can have a breakout year and then parlay that into a big contract. If this is true I'm all for it as u know he will be motivated
  20. That would be great as long as we address the oline issue also
  21. Ur right. And I would like this move cuz he's very good in this system. He has the ability so teams would have to respect it which would open lanes for knox and Bennett
  22. I've always liked Floyd and would love to see him in a Bears uni. Depends on the contract cuz I'm sure he wants to get pd
  23. Here's the link for this story. espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/6811771/chicago-bears-ex-jacksonville-jaguars-punter-adam-podlesh-agree
  24. Of course that would be an upgrade but my question would be who would that WR be that fits our system well. Remember we all thought DA was gonna be that nxt budding star this time last year
  25. I believe I heard the deal is for 5 yrs making around 2 mil/yr. He did set career highs last year. I like this deal. I think I read he dropped 46% of his punts inside the 20
