  1. I agree. The whole D line is a need

  4. I would love to look at these guys with our 5-7th rounders.
  5. Another article on some possible late rounders: http://www.mockingthedraft.com/2012/3/27/2...latively-unkown The Derek Carrier kid intrigues me. and Fugger just visited.
  6. I do, especially in the late rounds and free agents.
  7. your thoughts? http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/NFL-DR...-can-stick.html
  8. I agree with you here. I think its going to take two or three drafts to get the kind of talent and athletes he wants here. I am also excited about the draft because I have no idea how its going to go. Its was disgusting that you could predict the types of players JA would pick in the draft, almost down to the round.
  9. With JA, typically we would see these guys who came on visits getting selected in the draft. I wonder if Emery will be the same.
  10. We are still learning how our new GM works, but this is starting to be his MO. It looks like he likes to bring in a ton of competition, especially vets, to positions of need. We have seen it with WR and CB. We will probably add draft picks and undrafted FA's to the mix as well. Its certainly refreshing to see Emery leaving no stone unturned. At the very least, we have options and hopefully some of these guys will make the front offices decisions very hard when it come to cutting players.
  11. Some coincide with Bears needs: http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Mr-Safe-Pick-6774.html
  12. I agree. I think he has a chance to be a special player. Not so much with the others projected to be there.
  13. And I agree with that take. I'm just saying if no one falls, then I would be cool with a trade down.
  14. Depends on how far we go back. If it is a couple of spots then you can get another 4th. I just think that the quality of the prospects at 19 are pretty equal, and you can move down to get a better value. Also it depends on how the draft goes.
  15. To me, Kirkpatrick is the only guy I would take at 19 there. If we aren't taking him I think you could move down, get another pick, and still take the same caliber of player that you would have at 19.
  16. Oh I hear you. I would just be shocked if the draft went like that. But again, who know?
  17. Well Briggs was a 3rd round pick, so its possible to get a replacement in the 2nd or 3rd. Talent is all over the draft, just have to find it.
  18. Yeah, I have seen him going in the 4th round so I question the pick in the second round as well. I wouldn't be happy with it.
  19. Man that is a weird draft. I have seen Quick and Johnson typically gone in the second rounds and Irvin going in the 4th in other mocks. But who knows....
  20. Nothing is a guarantee. There are plenty of pick later than 19 that have been better football players.
  21. from where we are picking there wont be one stand out top choice unless someone falls. The best values are in the top of the second round.
