  1. Agreed, but that just one more nail in the coffin. He already pushed himself into the late rounds with all of his crap, and the failed drug test is just icing on the top of the failure cake.
  2. He tested positive for Mary Jane at the combine............. pass
  3. I would not like to see that. Same dude that said Martz was a great hire and stuck by that, ad nauseam, ........just sayin
  4. Perhaps you should break down his tape in the arena league before you make sure bold statements. You really have no legs to stand on here.
  5. Agreed, agreed, agreed!!!!
  6. I read that one too. Its a good read.
  7. I'd be down with that draft except for the Rainey pick, I think Emery looks for a CB.
  8. lol, Do you know how many people in the league smoke pot? Anyway, he has a first round grade, so I would take a flier on him in the late rounds. I dont think he falls that far.
  9. I hope he falls and we can get a good value late in the draft.
  10. After reading through some online analysis, I like this move even more.
  11. I'm going to try to get to that game too. The last time I went was the Monday night game when the Bears staged the awesome comeback. I was coaching at a high school right by there, so I went after practice, got there at halftime. I was wearing a Hester jersey, and people were talking mad crap. My wife and I were just about to leave and then the awesomeness started happening. We got with some other Bears fans and talking some crap. hahahaha
  12. Except for the difference in money, starting expectations, how much they need the ball, drama, etc. Its a lot less easy with TO, etc. If you would have made the comparison to a Komar, Thomas, Weems, Sanz, etc, that is the same thing.
  13. Plus signing Rachel is nowhere near the same thing as TO or Randy Moss.
  14. Its kind of weird to have actual veteran depth, instead of 7th rounders and UFA's.
  15. I agree with you about Burfict's talent. He got progressively worse from his freshman year on. But it wouldn't bother me to burn a late round pick on him, even though I dont think he amount to anything. You know who I would like even better with a late rounder? Omar Boldin. I dont know where he is projected to go.
  16. I dont think you can really judge this as good or bad yet. I think they will just see if he can beat anybody out, if not, he will be gone.
  17. lol, Yeah, who was it that told you your credibility was shot because Komar wasnt on your list of receivers? Silly... I like Quick alot, I hope he will sneak to us in the mid rounds of the draft.
  18. I wonder what they would have said about Frankie O
  19. I think he is only 26 too. I like the move as well.
  20. I know. How are we signing all these guys to these lucrative vet minimum contracts? Must be that phantom 50+ million in cap space.......
  21. I wouldn't mind blowing a 6th or 7th rounder on Burfict. But the guy is one of the bigger pieces of sh*t I've seen in college football. He is lazy and entitled. His best year, talent wise, was his freshman year. So who knows if he would change his ways in the pros. I would lean towards in never becoming anything, but who knows. Maybe the kid gets it figured out.
  22. Yes, the Oline stats will be better just with the switch in OC's. I think I read the stat that 18 of Cutler 25 sacks last year were before Fartz got sent to the principals office and was forced to reel it in. At this point, I will be surprised if D Line was not in the cards with the first pick.
  23. The 3.5 mil was after the cb's were signed. I would think that any new signings would be potential replacements for current players, making their contracts a wash.
