Based on his performance's in pre-season and training camp should Booker be guaranteed a place in the team? Probably not. However I'd rather have Booker out on the field when its 3rd and 8, deep in the 4th quarter and we trail by less than a FG.

Its quite funny reading these politcial posts, from an objective point there isn't a great deal of difference between McCain and Obama. One is a moderate centre-right politician, the other moderate-centre left. I find it quite amusing though to hear Obama labelled a socialist based on his approach to universal health care, from a European perspectibe he aint anywhere near left wing enough to be considered a socialist.

I dont think you could afford to lose before - but your right about Briggs not being missed at times last year. Jamar Williams played well and I'd have been happy if the Bears had re-signed Berrian and let Briggs walk. Harris has shown he is a classy guy, and I always thought that the Bears took into consideration "character" when drafting or signing guys. Obviously not always the case.

and if our oline is as bad as last year he'd do a lot of running

if the oline is better this year we'll see improvements in both the running game and passing game, we might not win the division but we could get to the play offs as a wild card

there's been a fair few suspensions this off season - running back Mike Anderson got a ban as well. I'm sure he'd been mentioned as a backup by someone.
