How about moving Garza to the left guard spot and trying Beekman or Metcalfe at RG. Who ever wins the RG spot would be playing between 2 good vets from whom they could learn something./ Just a thought

Have to ask yourself is he that much better than what we have already got? If the answer is yes then it would be worth a discussion. Personally I'd say no and give a chance to the rookie WR's we drafted to make a name for themselves

There's plenty of journey men vets about but are any of them any better than Grossman or Orton? I dont think so and that includes Leftwich, sure he has a big arm but he's a sitting duck, Culpepper bombed in Oakland and if you cant make it in Oakland (mind you there O-line was worse than ours last year). There's also another ex Jags QB on the market. Quinn Gray signed as a FA with the Texans but was cut within a couple of months. I think Chris Simms stay in Tampa might be near an end so I'd have a look at him (and I think we tried to get Gradkowski but the Rams were ahead of us on the waiver list)

Te Texans have something like 17 on IR. If Andre Johnson hadn't missed something like 6-7 games then I reckon they'd be better than 7 - 7. They also lost their best CB. Mario looked good - starting to look like the number 1 pick.

It may be possible to get a draft pick for Griese - from someone like Atalanta who probably will look to draft a QB, Throwing him in feet first isn't always the best recipe so sitting behind BG may be an option.
