He actually had multiple reads a few times yesterday. Those things come with time and confidence. The OL has been hot garbage. Bill Lazor has made all the difference in the world. They are finally tailoring the gameplan to the skill set of the team. Nagy's ego would not allow the round peg to go in the round hole.

Mitch made that terrible throw in the endzone and it wasn't even a terrible decision. He underthrew the ball by 5 feet. Bolts couldn't even get back to it to prevent the pick. On the other hand, Kyler Murray gets praised for his terrible, ill advised, throw in the endzone, where Fitzgerald makes a fantastic catch. I'm tired of the Mitch bashing. He's averaged 31 f'n points a game. Before that, we were begging for a score.

Same old Mitch? Winning Mitch? 33 points a game Mitch? 98 QB rating Mitch? Playoff contention Mitch? How bout new Mitch? Agreed on D.
-
And this is main thing you and I have disagreed with over the last 15 years, lol. We are soul brothers on OL, but you play to win, especially if you can make the playoffs. Give me a chip and a chair any day. I truly don't see where drafting at a higher slot ever beats a winning culture. Draft well and train them up.

We would, but they won't, lol. Still need weapons and pass rush.

My OL would be LT - Christian Varishaw, Va Tech LG - James Daniels C - Sam Mustipher RG - Cody Whitehair RT - Jalen Mayfield, Michigan With our first and second picks, we get two of the top 5 OT's in the draft. Get our best lineman back at 23 years old. Move Whitehair to RG where he is a vast improvement and mentor to our new RT. Another year of Mustipher will bring him added strength. Bring back Bars, Ifedi, Hambright and Spriggs as backups. If Leno is willing to take a pay cut, I'm willing to keep him around as well.
-
I would actually argue that he has been better than the other tackles on the team. He looked ok until Daniels got hurt, then instantly got better when Whitehair moved next door. The multiple weeks of the Rashad Coward debacle really hurt. Does he need upgraded? Absolutely. If he takes a pay cut, I can see him on the team next season. Maybe even starting a couple games, while the rookie learns the ropes.

Chicago is a flagship franchise. If Ted Phillips gets replaced by a football guy, we get the cream of the crop. The cupboard is not bare.

John Fox. Oh wait...

I heard, without reference, that they are looking at some type of ratio type of uncapped season so teams can figure it out. It's nothing that anyone expected.
-
I believe so. He's not going to command a huge contract. For Mitch to be successful we need to stack both O and D fronts.

I'm torn as well. It's cool that Nagy has an ego. It's also cool that this season seems to have humbled his reckless side. You've often stated the "smartest guy in the room" regarding he and Pace. The failure, pressure and scrutiny they both faced this year may just season them a bit. (Definitely Nagy who had to have Foles and had to step down as play caller.) Who knows their character better than a team that played their ass off for them?

I've seen enough of Mitch the last 3 games to know we can win with him for a season. My choice is still to draft OL and DL before we get the next guy. Give it to Mitch and Foles again next year, then draft our future QB. I'm going to stay on record on this matter. Cut Massie, Skrine, Graham and Harris. Trade Fuller and Hicks if you can. Time for a youth movement.

I'm watching Leonard Floyd and he's everything we wanted him to be. Last year of Fangio, he had the hand injury and got 4.5 sacks. Under two years of Pagano, he got 7. He has eight this year while competing with Aaron Donald. Great job Pace and Pagano for giving us an older Quinn at a higher price and an older age. Bravo! What a cluster f$&k!
-
One more reason to fire Nagy. He has no balls. If he had any, he would've fired Pagano after costing us the last two games with his shitty scheme. Hell, Adam Gase fired Greg Williams for one mistimed blitz.

Love the inside info. One thing that is certain is the likes of Alex Brown truly don't know what the McCaskeys are truly thinking. When it comes to their money, only they and their accountants know. At least, that's how is control my situation.

It's 11PM and they are still employed. I don't know if I have the stamina for this protest...?

Arob can't be traded, he's a FA. And it doesn't make sense to cut Miller, as he is cheap.
