I get you. There's always something you hope for, but sometimes have to get best available. Loveland was the guy. He seems like he's going to be a difference maker.
-
I don't know about that. The top OT's got picked before us, so Loveland was the guy. If we don't draft a penetrator, I'll be shocked.

I could argue why you are wrong, but no need. We simply interpret the rule differently. It could go either way, period. Here's the rule... NFL Pass Interference (PI) is a penalty for illegally hindering a player's chance to catch a forward pass beyond one yard past the line of scrimmage, with defensive PI resulting in the ball placed at the spot of the foul (a "spot foul") plus an automatic first down, while offensive PI moves the ball back (usually 10 yards) and negates scores, with both types being difficult to officiate, leading to frequent controversy and inconsistent calls despite past experimental review rules. Key Aspects of Pass Interference Definition: An act by a player that significantly hinders an eligible player's opportunity to catch a forward pass, occurring more than one yard past the line of scrimmage. Offensive PI: An offensive player interferes with a defender. Often involves setting illegal blocks (picks) for teammates. Defensive PI: A defender impedes an offensive player from catching the ball. Penalties Offensive PI: 10-yard penalty from the previous spot, loss of down (or negates scores if on a scoring play). Defensive PI: Spot foul (ball placed where foul occurred) and automatic first down. Controversy & Rules Subjectivity: Pass interference is notoriously hard for officials to call consistently, leading to debates. Review Rule (Temporary): The NFL experimented with allowing coaches to challenge PI calls and non-calls in 2019 but did not make it a permanent rule. Recent Examples: Controversial calls on offensive pass interference in the final minutes of a 2025 Lions game highlighted ongoing debates about the rules' application, as noted by NFL.com and Detroit Free Press. Key Takeaway: While the rule aims to ensure fair play for receivers, the subjective nature of judging "significant hindrance" often creates inconsistent results, making it one of football's most debated penalties

This is a pass interference. Not called... https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1BYqUW1552/

Honorable mention to Jackson and Booker to add to the D. Commentators keep praising Edmunds for his great season and I don't see it. I keep seeing him tackle people from the side, instead of him filling a gap. Our DL is not getting manhandled. Running backs can patiently wait to see a hole and know they are getting 5 yards. I believe he played the entire game and recorded one tackle and five assists. Seven DB's had more solo tackles.
-
Yes, because he saw the ball in the air. After that he was making a play. I can't debate whether the contact the DB made was PI, because we've seen that "called/not called". I just didn't see enough of the DB affecting DJ. I'll stand on the face guarding part and that he was playing the ball.
-
First part, yes. Second part, didn't matter, because he didn't move or hinder DJ. Scratch the first part. The DB did look back. That's what made him attack the way he did. Out of respect, I watched again...
-
No. The defender had a right to the ball and didn't hinder DJ's attempt to catch.
-
I wouldn't have called it.

Can we please get 2nd half Caleb in the first half? It seems like he plays on slow burn until he needs to crank it up. Man, he's great with his hair on fire. And how bout Jahdae Walker!
-
I'm done with Tremaine Edmunds, he couldn't fill a hole in a women's prison...
-
Unfortunately, they are just better than us...

My stomach won't leave my throat till this one is over.

It's Indiana's fault. We daylight savings to stay with New York.

I'm NE of Indianapolis, EST.

I think Jahdae Walker is a hidden gem. I forget which program he came from, but they didn't feature the pass. He's tall, agile and fast. (A trait we don't have in the starters). I really liked the contested catches he made in the pre season. He showed Tyler Scott the door.

This! I hate them. Forrest Gregg was the filthiest piece of shit coach I've ever seen. He created Charles Martin in a circle jerk with Satan. Not only did they destroy Mac's shoulder, I remember them throwing Payton into the bench. We hit hard. They hit dirty. My brother is a Packer fan and he's a smug little POS two weekends of the year. He's the type to rub it in after the game too. I talk my smack before, not after. F the Packers and their fans.

Lol, saw that yesterday. I like the Jackson pick, where Sanders just stood and watched with zero effort to help tackle. What a douche...
-
Or you can say he's Alvin Harper and the price skyrockets...
-
I would almost bet against this. With the emergence of Burden, that kicks DJ to 3. Don't forget Jahdae Walker, he really impressed in the pre season. He's 6'3 and faster than DJ and 22 million cheaper.

Enter Terrell Smith and Tyreek Stevenson. CJGJ can probably play there too. The key is a healthy Gordon...🤞🏼
