OH GOD. I'm so worried. There are far too many great prospects there for the fudgepackers. I sure hope they don't pick Jack or Ragland.

Bears Draft Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
I agree with the bolded. I didn't want OLB because I think Young, Houston, and McPhee do very well this year if they're healthy. Both Houston and Young were injured last year, and if not for those injuries they likely both get 10 sacks.

I don't like the fact that WRs went Fuller, Doctson, and Treadwell, because the Vikings just got the best of the three. That dude is a monster, and he could be the new Megatron of the NFC North.

Who do we take in round #2???
I think there is going to be a huge run on DE pretty soon. Robinson, Bullard, Calhoun, Spence, Billings, Butler, Reed. At this point I could see Nkemdiche slipping. If he's there, I hope the Bears jump on him in the first 5 seconds.

Bears Draft Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
So now the Bears have the following at OLB: Floyd Young Houston McPhee Who gets traded? Both Young and McPhee came on hard last year, and McPhee was obviously the best of the bunch. They can't have a four-man rotation. It wouldn't maximize playing time for a first round pick like Floyd.

SMC 4.63 forty 31.5 vert 118 broad Floyd 4.6 forty 39.5 vert 127 broad WAAAAY more explosion. Also, Floyd didn't rack up his stats against scrub teams in a secondary conference.

Didn't care. Don't care. He was a huge value at #9. Doesn't matter now though, because the Dolphins picked him.

Pretty much how I feel about it. I think trading up for Tunsil was the homerun pick. No way he should have been there at 9. No freaking way. But if Floyd ends up being a stand up triple, I'll be OK with it.

What was I saying some time ago? http://www.talkbears.com/forums/index.php?...st&p=156167 I don't think it's the right choice, but they were searching for Von Miller. The trade up was unnecessary. The trade up made sense for a guy like Tunsil who shouldn't have been there at 9. NO way. All that said, I think it works for the Bears. He's explosive.

Leonard Floyd. I think he would have been there at 11. I'm disappointed with the trade.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I don't care about character issues as much as most. Also, that's pretty common among college kids today. Last but not least, YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS. I never imagined he'd be there at 11. That's insanity. He was thought of as the #1 OT but the video released this late is crazy.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS! Now that absolutely guarantees one of the studs fall.

I'm guessing Tunsil too.

I was thinking about who else was available. 1. Goff 2. Wentz 3. Bosa 4. Elliott That leaves Ramsey, Stanley, Tunsil, Buckner, Hargreaves, Jack. It could happen, but I don't think it will. I think one of those guys fall.

YEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. HAHAHAHA. PERFECT. Someone is guaranteed to fall now.

Best case scenario
That's a hit and miss for me. I like the trade down and the first two picks. I also like Hogan later on. I really hope the Bears don't use an early pick on a RB, and I don't particularly like Sean Davis as a CB prospect...he's not good in coverage.

If that's the case, I sure hope it's Lawson.

Mayock Mocks to the Bears...
I have said this many times. I think VHIII is very likely.

Unfortunately, all GMs talk in GM-speak and generalities. The key word to all of his info is the word "close". We don't know what he considers close.

Eagles just moved up to #2...
That's kind of my point. Just about every GM misses at roughly 50%. So hinging your 1st rounder on a potential miss is not as good a strategy when you don't need that position. That's my whole point. If you're going to take that same chance, it may as well be on a position of need. Saying, "Yeah, I think this guy is the different one though" is not good enough because it doesn't overcome the proven odds of the draft. Polian's probably as sure as they come, maybe the best (Newsome?), but he's still around .500. I guess I'm just more into the percentages of it all since the truly great guys can't be predicted.
