I never said he would turn out to be Jared Allen. All I said was he goes hard every play like him. It is a trait I want in every player that plays for the bears.

Can someone please tell me if he ever played MLB in college???? I thought they ran a 3-4 and he was an OLB. We run a 4-3 and even the OLB spot in a 4-3 is completly different than a OLB in a 3-4. He is not replacing 54, and will not play LB in our system. I just dont see it. We used the 19th pick on him(its not like he was a top 10 draft pick), he has the speed to play DE, strength need to catch up. Emery has came out and said they are pleased with his performance so far, Im sure that takes into account practice and games. Lets stop with the bashing and give this kid some time. He goes hard every play, similar to Jared Allen. You cant teach that, see Webb. If by the end of the season he sucks than lets start roasting him.

I didnt know if he is on meds or just seeing a DR...whatever it is I see a different BM. He even handles himself differently. Im almost postive Cutler said something to this extent after the presser for the trade.

Knee is 100% my ass. I posted back in April or May saying i was worried about him not pushing his knee very hard yet. I thought it was strange. Makes sense now, he was not pushing it hard with hopes that rest would do the trick. Looks like rest did not do it. Sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks Wonder how important Lovie thinks the last game of the season is now?? Hope that scope did the trick and he is ok soon!!!

I loved watching this guy in college. I really wanted the Bears to get him. Very glad they did. I hope he turns out. Him and the beast could be a very nasty combo. Throw in Hester in the right role and it could be very hard to defend against those three with Cutler and Forte. Shit I even like K Davis as a recieiving TE. If the Oline gives Cutler some time there should be a lot of options to go to.

At the end of the day do I want the Bears to go out and lose a game?? No, but why risk the long term health of the team for a meaningless game. Any player in the NFL can get hurt at any min of the day... Look at Suggs for the Raven. I know I would feel a whole lot better if 54 was really 100%.

We dropped either 3 or 6 spots in the draft and now have a banged up Urlacher with the win over Minny. This is the most excited I have been heading into a season. They finally made some moves on the O side of the ball and now Urlacher's knee is banged up before they even play a regular season game. I hope they are just being overly cautious. I hope everyone is saying their prayers for old 54's knee!!!!

BEARS SIGNED ANOTHER LB TODAY. SAW IT ON FACEBOOK TEAM NEWS: The Bears have signed LBs Xavier Adibi and K.C. Asiodu and DE Aston Whiteside while waiving DT Ronnie Cameron and CB Jeremy Ware. XAVIER IS OUT OF VTECH- VERY GOOD IN COLLEGE. NOT SURE WHAT HE HAS DONE IN THE NFL.

I do not think there is any chance Shea is going to replacing Urlacher. They guy was drafted as an outside/DE pass rush guy. It is totally different than playing inside backer. I played the same position in highschool and college. I once tried inside and felt like i was playing a new sport for the first time. Im not saying it cant be done, just highly unlikely.

Thought something on a positive note was needed after last nights meaningless preseason game and the Urlacher knee talk.

I guess it wouldnt be the first time a guy played a little cat and mouse to get contract talk going. I dont picture 54 doing something like that but in todays day and age you never know. I know if i was in his shoes I would be worried about the next contract being locked in. Im sure he knows his days of making 9 mill a year are over. Im praying his knee is 100% like they said.
