  1. Here is an article I found about my guy Alshon. Ive watched this kid like a hawk through college and was obsessed ever since. He may appear big and slow but in game speed this dude BEASTS. I know that there are high expectations for him as well as constant chatter on here about him but he is going to be the real deal. Anyways, the article talks mostly to Brandon Marshall about how he is the teacher to Alshon but that Alshon is doing plenty of teaching himself. Marshall Impressed with Alshon
  2. What a terrible trade for Cleveland. Sure, they get the guy they wanted, but they could have gotten him at 4 as Minnesota was not going to grab him. Way to give up all those picks and help a Bears divisional rival. Damnit.
  3. I know this is probably a dumb question with a simple answer and is semi-related to the topic at hand, but I have always wondered if there was any way a receiver (like Hester) in the NFL to sprint at the line of scrimmage like they do in Arena Football? Example (The 2 outside receivers): I have always wondered if the NFL players could do that or some alteration/loophole that could be done, because with Hester's and even Knox's speed this could be interesting. I have a feeling there's no possible way they could but I figured I would ask.
  4. Cutty Come Back Pretty hilarious parody.
  5. Got this on my Facebook newsfeed: He is an inside man with WSCR The Score. LOVE this move. Depth can only help, and he may start.
  6. Ill make this short and sweet... I know its not a glaring need but as an undrafted free agent i would LOVE to see the Bears take a look at John Clay, the running back out of Wisconsin. He was a huge bulldozer horse of a running back. I would love to see if he could catch on and give Forte a rest every now and then and use his punishing running style to wear down defenses and of course on the goal line. Just a wish of mine.
  7. I am very excited to see that we signed him as an undrafted free agent and even though his speed is put into question, id rather have a guy that can play football with a very high level of intelligence rather than have someone who is just out there to run. His stats look phenomenal and am looking forward to monitoring his progression.
  8. I still cannot wait to see who picks Myron Rolle. He is someone I wish the Bears would draft so badly, as I am sick of the dumb DB's that we have on this roster. He is my sleeper pick of the draft and hope someone drafts him real soon.
  9. http://football.realgm.com/src_wiretap_arc...andon_marshall/ Heres an interesting little bit I just found that goes along with my Marshall possibly landing in NY.
  10. I know this never will happen now, but with the addition of Holmes, him and Braylon Edwards form a pretty solid pair of receivers in NY. I remember hearing that the Jets were interested in Brandon Marshall as well, and I would have to say, that would be the nastiest 3-headed monster of WR's in the league. Throw in Brad Smith, who is a matchup nightmare as is, and you have got maybe one of the greatest receiving corps of all time (barring any psycho issues these headcases could have). I was bored and just thought Id throw a random thought out there. With the Holmes trade, I dont think theres any chance of this happening now, but that would be crazy.
  11. I wouldnt mind signing Hamlin at all. Ive always been a fan of his, he hasnt been the same in a couple years but hes still better than what we got. As far as Adams, I would have to take a pass. We had our little experiment with the old offensive linemen of the past with Pace and I just feel like we need to find solid young talent instead.
  12. I think this is a move in the right direction for the NFL. I also wish they would change it for everything however. Sure the guys who are for tradition and fear change hate this but seriously, you are put in a situation where your teams chances to win a super bowl, or even a playoff spot for that matter, rides on the ability to pick the right side on a flip of a metal coin. That does not dictate which team deserves to win, or who is better, it shows that you were lucky enough to pick a coin right. Sure college is full of games and gimmicks but I have to believe that the team that truly earns it and plays better earns the win, because both teams are given an equal opportunity to showcase both sides of their skilled talents. Should you just go ahead and win in the alotted time given in a game? In a perfect world, yes. However, with the high abilities of todays players, sometimes thats just not enough. I applaud the NFL in realizing what needs to be done and only hope that in the future they subside the stubbornness all together and change the rules for all OT situations.
