  1. I was bored and started looking ahead to the FA available next off-season and I came up with some #1 WRs and some potential OLineman:

    WR:

    Colston

    Bowe

Garcon (Could be a numer one...I think he's passed Reggie Wayne)

    OLine:

    Kalif Barnes T

    D'Brickeshaw Ferguson T

    Derrick Dockery G

With us having so much under the cap, I know Forte and Urlacher will take a pretty hefty chunk. I think signing 1 WR and 1 OL (either T or G) along with a drafting at least 2 Oline and 1 WR will benefit this team now. That's what we all want to see.

  2. Alls good Max Komer is being signed

Not too impressed...Played 1 season with 12 receptions in 8 games and fumbled 3 times...I'm sure we'll give him a 4 year deal...lol. Not to mention he is 5'11. Do we need another small receiver? Maybe we signed him to be the scapegoat and keep the criticism of Knox and Hester. I don't see him as an answer but just another question mark.

  3. I like Bilick's skills behind the mike. I'm not big on the play by play guys because they just seem to say stuff at the wrong times. Brennamann isn't all that bad but by far better than Buck. Every game Rodgers plays in, Buck practices his fellatio skills and I was starting to get the same yesterday for Newton by Brennamann.

There is a plus to hearing these knobs...we must be good enough to get the top tier announcers on FOX. Buck/Aikman, Moose/Goose/and I forget his name bust our balls, but if we're in the top tier, they call our games.

  4. He came back in and played after he broke it. Shouldn't be a big deal. Lineman can play with that club thing anyways if they have too.

He can use it for Suh's and Fairley's jaw in the trenches on MNF!!!

  5. I just hope that the O-Line is able to keep up to provide holes for Forte to run through. It was a decent game even though Carolina beat us in every statistical category. The only difference was on the scoreboard. Glad we got a victory going into a very difficult Monday night game at Detroit next week.

My son asked me today who the greatest football player ever was. The answer was simple, Walter Payton. He asked if I had ever seen him play and Iwas honored to say yes. I then pulled up a YouTube clip of his highlights so he could see. My son's response..."I want a Payton Jersey!" Will do, Son...Will do.

  6. 1. The OLine was actually impressive. Louis and Williams actually looked good. Finally Omiyale was on the sideline. I didn't like the line-swapping on the drive but Omiyale leaving made it feel right.

    2. WR WANTED!!!! We need a better option. If the line continues to play like they did yesterday, the WR problem will be more glaring. Give Moss a shot or something. Knox had 3 yesterday but Williams and Sanz only had 1. Sanz had a drop on a big 3rd down play. Sanz will get better for the slot but we need an "in the mean time" WR. Hit FA and the draft is a must next year.

    3. Cutler--disappointing performance yesterday but didn't lose the game for us. The pick sucked and made me get on the edge of my seat even more. Next week, he has to look more comfortable, unfortuantely Suh and Fairley will have different plans.

    4. The D---horrible. Jennings and Merriweather got lit up all afternoon. The LB couldn't fight off their blocks. The Line couldn't get pressure and when they did on a few plays, couldn't keep up. I've never been one for the bend but don't break way of D, but letting up 400+ passing and another 180+ rushing. The D needs pressure to make the QB make mistakes. Yes I understand Carolina has a good O-Line, but is our D-Line that bad to just let them march up and down the field. They bend to the breaking point and then they get the stop....why not stop them to begin with?

    5. Forte...enough said

    6. Hester-- Great game in the ST department but dropped a 3rd down play too. Best return man ever...Misused as Offensive weapon

    7. Martz called a decent game with the exception of that 3rd down Shoop Bubble Screen...WTF was that? Ran the ball 30 times. He did what we want and we won...Maybe we should call the game.

  7. Just showed this over here, & just wondered what y'all thought of it?

I watched it and laughed...mainly because I'm a Sox fan and find joy in Cubs' suffering. I did think it was well put together though. It wasn't Bartman's fault at all because afterall...it was just a strike.

  8. Bears 24 - Panthers 17

Closer than we think, because the Bears will be up, the Panthers will be forced to throw, and the DL will not get to Newton fast enough to stop him from scrambling around and finding receivers who will get open if given any mistakes or time (read: Smith).

    Bears 31

    Pathers 16

    Cutler 21-28 315yds 3 TDs

    Forte 21 for 120 on the ground 6Rec 75 yds 2 TDS

    Sanzenbacher 5 Rec 80 Yds 1 TD

    Williams 4 Rec 72 YDs 1 TD

The Line will get it done this week and this will be the corner they turn to get better the rest of the way. Bears will move to 2-2 after a rough 1st Quater of the season.

  9. Theisman gets on my nerves, especially when he comentates Bears games. He never has a single positive thing to say about them.

I like to watch his leg break in slow motion over and over again when he ticks me off.

Yes!!!! I think it should be an annual event...Theisman is the booth commentating, then BAM!!! LT out of no where like Terry Tate in the Reebok commercials!!!

  10. http://www.chicitysports.com/2011/09/29/ph...-walter-payton/

Pearlman gives his side of the story. SI only illustrated a very small part of the book which showed the bad but there was PLENTY of good. Jeff delves into the good in this interview. Many are saying he wants to make a quick buck off the demons of Walter yet don't realize that is a very...very small part of the book.

    Anybody's opinion change after listening?

Not at all. I am done with SI and I will not read that literary bullshit. Everybody has demons but the man died 12 or 13 years ago. If it's such a small part of the book, it should not have made the book. Why drag the man through the mud. Was that part of the book necessary? The reason it's in the book is to make people buy it. So IMHO, this douchebag is trying to make money on Sweetness' trial and tribulations...otherwise, this book would be another "Never Die Easy".

I even read the guys blog on his website to see if my opinion was biased and it's still the same. I read his explanation and it seemed like tap-dancing to me.

Even Connie Payton said some of the information was not true. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...e-with-her.html

I'm not buying it, reading it, or even wiping my ass with it.

  11. If it were not for the supposably "torn ligament" we would of been shut out. Hester's won us some games, our D has won us some games, Forte has won us some games, I do not think cutler has won us any games. (and i don't mean soley by themselves)

So your saying Cutler hasn't won us any games. Using your logic, we would have had the same success last year with Todd Collins at QB. Very interesting. I haven't heard that one. I guess we can chalk JA up with another blunder by letting him go...

  12. Agreed...

I just want a true leader of men. I'd prefer a guy with a SB win, or at minimum, coaching under such a guy.

I agree and would love to have Cowher or Gruden here.

Gruden has had success with QB's as well and Cowher's resume speaks for itself. And with that said, they both fit the bill.
