The Lions did use a high pick on Cheribus last year and I'm assuming you'll see them grab a guard or a tackle that falls with ther 2nd round pick. Considering no one else is off the board I could understand. I just don't like a TE this early. Than again, its the biggest safety valve for a QB and now Stafford should have in time a great TE and WR (or at least thats there idea).

He had a really poor performance at the combine. Seems like he has decent ability but I don't like him over a lot of other guys. If we get him it better be because the Bears move down significantly.

Maclin goes again. Browns are getting a ton of late round ammo to move up in the later rounds.

Makes sense. If I'm New Orleans I add a big rb later in this draft that can handle the majority of the workload. Jenkins could turn into a really good player and the Saints have an awful secondary.

McDaniels rubs me the wrong way. He might be super smart but I think he's ultra cocky and that this whole McDaniels experiment will fail miserably.

Saints will make a dumb pick here and ignore there defense just like Denver did and take Beanie Wells. I'm calling it right now

Well I was the fool that drafted him #1 overall in our mock, haha, so I love Sanchez. I would have wanted the Bears to move up to get him. I love Cutler though too...afterall I'm wearing my Cutler jersey right now as I listen to the radio since I'm putting in my direct tv today. Surprised Darius Heyward Bay goes this early.

Well they got a first rounder in return, so basically they gave up a 2nd round pick to get a QB. Thats a steal for the Jets, imo, a steal. Especially given where they were picking. The players given out, one was a restricted FA, one is a random practically undrafted QB and than another the Jets wanted nothing to do with anyway.

That is too much to offer. It would be one thing if it was like in baseball and moving Hester was basically removing his entire contracts from your books but I don't believe it really works that way. However, if it was Hester and a 4th or something like that I'd do it. Thats tough though to give up Hester and a high pick.

The thing that scares me is the financial rammifications and the fact that Boldin is very injury prone. I still would rally behind the move but at the same time historically speaking you can get burned by trading away too many picks because they are a cheap way to find needs and bring in youth which is a key in the NFL where players have such short NFL careers.

I go Nicks, MJohnson and if neither are there have no problem taking best safety on the board (or moving down) and than drafting Wallace.

I'm installing direct tv in the morning after a million years of cable. Cable finally pissed me off (I have been an avid cable supporter for years) and in this economy I'm getting a lot of money up front to switch ($350 from DirecTV and than another 175 from ATT). And than my monthly services are also significantly cheaper. Only crappy part was that I have a few HD TV's so I had some upfront costs associated with that, but with the amount I'll save I'm going to buy me NFL Sunday Ticket SuperFan and put my buddies in charge of food and drinks every Sunday at my place. So if all goes well, I'll be watching the draft at my house for a bit before going to a draft party at another persons house. But most importantly, I'll be getting set up to watch all my Bears games and Sox games in HD.

Get Johnson and Wallace in the next round and I'd be thrilled. Both could bust out, but you could be getting two impact players at need positions.

I'd love a FS or DE and than Wallace at 99. This Wallace guy has the potential to be special. Sure he also has the potnetial to be a bust, but he could be one of those guys that turns into a hell of a player.
