Velus Jones is not going to be anything. I would not be surprised if he was cut in the offseason. At his age, they touted this maturity and work ethic. The dude is a WR that can't catch and fumbles, which is 50% of his job. It doesn't matter how fast he is if he can't catch or when he does, fumbles. The Gordon that was drafted finally showed up. He was all over the place, INT, fumble recovery, and some great tackling. This is the guy everyone expected. I hope he finishes the season like this. I have been mixed on the coaching staff, but what they are doing with this roster is quite impressive. From last year, the defense lost Mack, Hicks, Quinn, Smith, and Jackson and almost beat the best team in the NFL. 2 INTs and a forced fumble was awesome to see. That has been missing the last few games. On the flip side, the offense WR corps was down to Pettis, Jones, Pringle, and Webster and somehow held a lead and almost won. Leatherwood and the O-Line as a whole struggled. The same thing that plagued him in LVR are still there. He needs more work. They need to sign at least 2x top end FAs this offseason with some draft picks. Fields now has 1K rushing yards on the season and needs 207 in the last 3 games to take the record, that is 69 yards per game and he had 95 vs Philly, so it will be possible. I still don't understand how Fields doesn't get the calls. There were two plays that should've been easy flags. First Suh literally punch Fields in the side of the head on a tackle, and there was another play where Fields got sacked and the dude landed right on top of him.

Almost had a chance at the #1 pick if HOU beat KC. Shocking it went to OT. The #2 pick looks like a very solid lock. Even with 1 more win, still locked into no worse than the #4 pick. People have been concerned about Fields not finishing with a scoring drive, well he got one today. No turnovers from him, he made plays despite a terrible O-Line and literally playing with WR4s and WR5s. Whitehair looks done. Leatherwood not the answer at RT. I suspect we need 3x OLinemen this offseason, a new LG, C, and RT. Hopefully Jenkins is not seriously injured, then that would be 4 new guys needed. It will be nice to get Herbert back next week. Montgomery was solid, but I would rather see Herbert get the touches over Ebner and Evans at this point. Gordon's stock way up, Velus Jones stock down. What do you do about Jaylon Johnson? Supposed to be a shutdown corner and AJ Brown gets 8 receptions for 160+ yards with Johnson in coverage. Crazy stat, Brown and Smith accounted for 307 receiving yards, all other players accounted for 8. Most of those were against Johnson and Jones.

Gipson was bear hugged on a 3rd down incompletion before the missed FG, no-call. Would have given the Bears better field position. Then right before the last TD run, the Eagles had two guys in motion (TE in motion to right as OL-eligible jumps up and goes in motion to left) before Pennel jumped offsides. Pennel gets called, not the illegal motion.

Another winnable game. Hurts has some nice touch on the outside deep balls. Fields needs to learn/practice that. Expected to lose, they had the lead and were competitive all game. Despite injuries, the team played pretty good. I am most excited about Gordon's performance. He really needed a game like this. I hope Jenkins and Sanborn are ok with only minor injuries, those are 2 players we need in 2023.

Refs are terrible. Eagles had two guys in motion at the same time, but they call offsides on Pennel on same play? Rewatch that one, unbelievable. How do they miss that? Results in another easy TD, completely changes the game.

Now Fields is hurt, wtf. Just shut him down for the season.

If the O-Line can't block, where is the quick game? Getsy is clueless, I am telling you. You can't have 5 and 7 step drops and long developing plays with this O-Line. Watch the routes, there are no crossers, slants, etc.

Damn now Sanborn? These injuries are just piling up.

I have really soured on this coaching staff. Flus and Getsy very suspect on offense, Flus and Williams on defense. They literally blitzed a Safety leaving no one in the middle of the field for one of the easier TD draws you will ever see.

Fields with another Superman run, holy cow, this guy is off the charts.

They are saying it is a neck injury. If it is something that requires surgery, he is done. What crappy luck, it didn't even look that bad.

Line dropped to Eagles -8.5 and O/U 48.5. A lot of money on the Philly side.

If Claypool is not viewed as a WR1, then trading #33 or #34 for a WR2 is terrible value.
