When Fuller was being interviewed about Vereen coming in late last week, he actually said Vereen asked him what to do. He was playing Nickel, but it seems that he still needs some time to learn the defense.

This is a huge series for the defense coming up. We got the momentum back, and we need a quick stop and put their defense back out there. They were blitzing a lot so they are gonna be winded.

Again, I don't know what adjustments were made, but we had the defense on their heels the entire drive. We scored 2 TDs on that drive, and Forte almost had a huge gain if not for that shoelace tackle.
