  1. There are no words. Blow it up. Start over.
  2. just keeps gettin worse....and why the freak do they keep showing Babich?
  3. I kinda thought Hester stopped right by the ump instead of continuing his route
  4. His career is done. He will continue to be a mediocre WR, but that's about it. The Bears had a player that was the best at his position in the history of the NFL. The best in HISTORY. So what did they do...moved him. They can't switch him back either because he will be mentally shot. Still can't believe it.
  5. lets run the clock out and settle for down by 7. Laugh about it Lovie.
  6. He had no push whatsoever. So glad they showed it over cause you can see he never even broke the LOS. Just ran into a sack. He is done.
  7. This is from a post of mine in Feb 08. A season and half later and nothing has changed. Accountability is a bad work around Halas Hall. ....nobody is held accountable on this team. Drop passes. Cut off your routes. Quit on your block. Quit on your tackle. Make boneheaded play after boneheaded play.....go ahead...Nobody is going to punish you for it. This team lacked discipline like none I can remember and it didn't seem to matter to anyone.
  8. You can only go as far as your offensive line will take you. This organization continues to ignore it. A great O-Line will make an average QB and average RB good. A shit O-line will make a great QB and great RB look below average. It's just the way it is now. Gone are the days when the O-line were just anonymous bludgeoners. They are VITAL to offensive success. That's why most of us in here were clamoring for Faneca regardless of his price tag. It's that big of a deal. When I hear Thayer and Hampton talk about certain players lack of knowledge with hand positioning or leverage. I'm dumbfounded. These are supposed to be elite players playing at their highest level. They still need to be taught where to put their hands or whether to have their weight on their toes or heels?? WTF?? Just look how bad Forte looks. Cutler is now getting sacked 1 in every 19 attempts. Last year he was sacked 1 every 56. Combine that with the fact he had two quality NFL receivers in Denver compared to 0 in Chicago and there's your difference in his play.
  9. I didn't hear it, but if those were his complaints. I'm right with him. OL is horrible. Pace is a waste. Tommie hasn't been a force in years and it isn't because he is double teamed....I can't remember the last time I saw 2 guys on him.
  10. The problem is the refs callin all the ticky tacky shit. Common sense tells you why the rule is in place and it isn't for a hit like Alex Brown gave in the preseason. It's when a 300+ lineman bounces on top of the quarterback. There's no reason to do that other than to try and hurt the player. If you have him in your grasp...hopefully you stuck him when you grabbed him...if you didn't, you don't need to hold on to him as you're going down and bounce him. That isn't part of the tackle...it's part of hurting him or knocking him out of the game. People don't want their star players knocked out of the game.
  11. I thought I was missing something cause I saw those quotes. I can't see anything wrong with what Urlacher said. In fact, he seems to side with Cutler on the whole issue while also giving his props to Kyle. And yeah I guess we do see 2 different players. I see one that is usually pretty quiet and always passes the praise on to his teammates. An ego guy, I think would have made a stink when Lovie came aboard and brought this stupid as system that has Url and all the things that make him great, battle in the trenches with O lineman or back peddle 20 yards off of the LOS. The ESPN article seems to make it seem more negative: This seems a little better. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-0...0,2912681.story
  12. Anybody have what Urlacher said somewhere?? IMO, Urlacher is hardly an ego guy.
  13. I'll be the dark horse here. After I started hearing this stuff when Adams came in I went back and watched some tape of the games. If you guys watch the tape...watch the games over and study Dusty. He was constantly double teamed while Tommie was being single teamed. Dusty lead all lineman in tackles before he went out. I know it's nice and neat to just say oh Adams is playing way better now, and he is playing well but it's not because Dusty sucked. It's because now they are back to double teaming Tommie. When I see a team double one guy and not the other, I know there's a reason for it. That team studies the tape and they know who they want to put the extra body on. If Dusty sucked so bad why was he always taking on two blockers. It's not as simple as you people are making it out to be. What should have happened is Tommie should have been on the fuckin bench since he wasn't healthy and Adams and Dusty should have been the tackles. This whole defense would have been better off, but that doesn't fit Lovie's dumb ass scheme.
  14. He needed to be cut last week. One to send a message to the team and two because he is easily replaceable. It was the perfect opportunity to let someone go and make a statement and not have it affect your team at all. But, nothing was done as usual....and nothing will be done....this team is soft...and these coaches are soft....
  15. The thing it should have done is draw some god dam emotional response from the team, but nope. This team has no fight in them.
