That made me laugh out loud. The run game was a bust. Forte is not good between the tackles, and it showed tonight. He's actually a better pass catcher than he is a runner for his position, yet he's been completely ignored in that area all season. They did get him a TD today via the pass, but that's the only time I can recall him catching a pass as a receiver. Our screen game isn't very good either. Losing Lance Louis especially hurts in this area because of his athleticism to get out and block in space. The defense couldn't get off the field. Russell Wilson killed them with his legs on 3rd downs. Seemed like he was always picking up 1st downs. Idonije had one of his worst games. I don't know what the hell he was seeing out there today-- cutting inside on an obvious roll out situation that wound up being a crucial 3rd down pickup late in the game. He's so damn slow. Can't wait for someone else to take his place next year. I didn't think the play calling offensively was that bad today, to be honest. I liked it, for the most part. I thought Tice did a good job calling a safe gameplan with the offensive line, and getting him outside the pocket at times. I only wish he would start using Forte more as a receiver.

They probably won't beat both Minnesota and Detroit twice, I have no faith in them to win a game against the Packers, which means a loss against the Arizona Cardinals could mean the difference between making or missing the playoffs. Either way I still believe this team isn't good enough to win a playoff game. Too one dimensional, and the defense is easy to exploit.

Bears dominated that half offensively. Should have 17 points right now. Unfortunately the defense is sucking something awful because Russell Wilson can setup camp in the pocket. Once again the defensive line is getting very little pressure against this kid. Also, Matt Forte is either still hurt badly or he just sucks.

There goes 7 points off the board thanks to a drop by Bennett. Case in point as to why Marshall is the only noteworthy receiver on this team.

Forte is on my shit list. Get the god damn 1st down on 3rd and 2. He had all day to get upfield. Should have been an easy 1st down. Then Bush can't get 1 foot on 4th and inches..

Their corners can get after you. I've never seen a secondary as big as Seattle in my lifetime. We know the identity of this team all year has been to feed it to the beast, but when the beast is double teamed or can't get open for whatever reason, somebody else has to step up and make a play. Earl is capable, but I'm also interested in seeing how Weems will do with some reps out there. He looked pretty good in pre-season. The Bears focus should be controlling the T.O.P, running the ball, and beating them with play action passing. The Bears can't do anything when they can't run the ball. They don't have a TE that can stretch the field and alleviate the pressure on Marshall to make plays.

Seahawks usually play us tough. I expect a tight game from start to finish. I'm more concerned about our offense against their D, than I am about Russell Wilson versus our defense.

Deadspin always seems to be on the right side of an argument in these situations, because they don't feed you the same BS that's been spewed over and over again on Networks like ESPN, that are very agenda driven.

Sounds painful. It's really beginning to feel like this won't be our year again. We got through most of the season relatively injury free, which is something that usually has to happen if you want any chance at winning a Superbowl, Green bay not withstanding, and in one week, we are already depleted at several crucial positions. Losing Lance Louis, our best offensive lineman, is going to hurt. Tillman now having to play through a chipped bone in his foot? He might not be the same the rest of the season until it get fixed. Losing Alshon Jeffery is another big blow. And then we don't know how serious Briggs and Forte's injuries are either.. You need a little luck to win a Superbowl, and for a while, the Bears looked like they were on that path until this past week. Lets hope the guys are able to come back and play through whatever is ailing them, and their performance doesn't suffer. We can't afford to lose any more players to season ending injuries.

They're all tough games. It's the playoffs, but given the recent history of the New York Giants, that's a team I really wouldn't want to be facing in the first playoff game. Give me Seattle.

No he's not. Unless you want him to play even worse than he's played already. Carimi has been by far and away the worst pass blocker out of the entire group this year, and it's not really even close. He has ZERO lateral quickness and you want to play him at a position wear he can be exploited even more? Lord help us.
