  1. Bears continue to embarrass themselves in the middle 8. How Caleb misses that easy throw I have no idea, but now SF has a golden opportunity to make this a two possession game to end the half instead of the Bears doubling up, like they should have done.
  2. My god these two defenses are bad. Great play by Caleb to get the free play and find Loveland for the touchdown.
  3. Finally, some life on offense. Beautiful throw to Burden.
  4. This is going to be a repeat of the Detroit game. Bears didn't come ready to play tonight. Ben getting drastically outcoached again.
  5. 2 drives, 2 three and outs. Pathetic. These slow starts are really pissing me off. Ben and Caleb need to get this shit sorted out before the playoffs, because they're going to get run out of the building by more experienced teams.
  6. That's probably game. Bears offense, once again, god awful to start the game. You cannot punt in this game or you're going to get blown out.
  7. Sounds like Kittle is unlikely to play. If the Bears don't have Wright, that's a huge loss, particularly with their run game. The one thing SF does well on defense is defend the run. Not ideal.
  8. I could really see the game ending either similarly to the Lions game or Bengals game. The team that has to punt first loses. At the very least, you have to be able to hold SF to FG's while you score touchdowns. Time of possession, redzone offense/defense are the keys to victory.
  9. The 49'ers are starting to look like a scary team. Just a complete evisceration of the Colts defense tonight. Almost 50 points. It looked like they were running routes on air the entire game. They haven't punted since November 30th! Unless the Bears can dominate time of possession, I have a feeling this game could get ugly.
  10. Yes, but GB isn't likely to lose out. That's why I said they'll probably be eliminated before the week 18 game.
  11. If the Bears can beat SF this week, I think they have a pretty good shot at the #1 seed. SEA has to go to CAR and SF to finish the year, and DET (the Bears week 18 opponent) probably won't have anything to play for.
  12. The ending to that Lions game was ridiculous. The Lions got every questionable call, and the Steelers kept shooting themselves in the foot with boneheaded decisions. That fat TE for PIT ruined two scoring drives, one his own fumble and the other was a penalty-negating touchdown that kept Detroit alive. I'm just glad we don't have to fret anymore about needing another win to get in, and can instead focus on trying to get the highest seed possible.
  13. Doesn't look like he's going to get 4,000 yards or 30 passing touchdowns this season, but 30+ total touchdowns is within the realm of possibility. I have to imagine that would be a record for this franchise.
  14. I just realized the Bears could also now clinch a playoff spot with one more Packers loss after last night's victory, and the Packers might have to start Malik Willis against the Ravens next week. Also, opponents are winless the week after losing to the Bears this year. Something to keep in mind
  15. Still running on fumes after last night... They were severely out played and out coached for almost all but 2 minutes at the end and somehow found a way to win. I am hopeful this win will finally allow them to breathe a little and not press as much early on in case they meet in the playoffs. Having Burden and Odunze back will be huge, but the Packers will get a couple players back they didn't have last night, too. My biggest concern right now is what happened to CJGJ? I pray he didn't blow his knee out and maybe it's only a slight hyper extension. Was he able to walk it off? His loss is devastating for this defense that already couldn't afford to lose him given the Kyler Gordon injury. They still likely need 1 more win to get in, and they're going to have to play maybe the two best offenses they'll play all season the next two weeks. I'm really nervous how this is going to play out.
  16. SF's offense always scares me with Shanahan. Purdy eviscerated the Bears last year. The ball barely touched the ground. Obviously, the circumstances were different back then, but his accuracy and downfield throwing scares the heck out of me given how poor this defense has been in giving up explosives. I don't think their defense is very good, though. They can't rush the passer at all. I expect this offense to move the ball and put up points in this game. I think it could come down to takeaways and time of possession.
  17. That easily goes down as the most thrilling win as a Bears fan in my life. I have no idea how they won that game.
  18. This has been one of the worst coached games I've ever seen.
  19. We really do have the worst receiving core in the NFL. NOBODY can make a contested catch.
  20. Lol, Caleb with another moronic play sliding on 3rd down.
  21. It's beyond maddening how effective you see Malik Willis is with his legs, but our guy refuses to run.
  22. Lol, Caleb sucks. RUN THE GOD DAMN BALL INSTEAD OF THROWING IT AWAY!
  23. Loser franchise. Caleb getting outplayed by Willis now, lol.
