As far as ST goes, these guys have been competing for a job, if they kneel every time its kicked into the end zone how do they judge who wins the job? I'm sure come regular season when the ball is kick deep into the end zone more often than not they'll take the touchback.

Still think it's gonna be Williams. Spurlock does have a pretty good history of returning though, 5 career return TDs.

I was a big fan of the Lane signing. 6'6" 260, 4.58 speed, spent last year doin MMA, Joe Kim, our "pass rush specialist", brings his MMA coaching in to help players improve their hand technique....Seems like a match made in heaven. But ya, they probably keep 4 DTs and 5 DEs I'd say they probably keep Houston Paea Ratliff Allen Young Ego Sutton Lane and then one of Scott/Bass. I'd agree that Scott seems to be ahead of Bass.

If they wanna play Collins at NT then that's great news for the Bears. He's not a guy who demands a double team so that makes the OLs job much easier.

The guys who looked really bad to me last night were DJ Williams, Khaseem Greene, Danny McCray, and Chris Conte. Young looked bad against the run, but barring injury he won't have to play the run. I agree the Briggs looks fat and slow so he seems to be a problem as well. Sans Briggs, all those problems bad players might not even be starters come regular season. I thought Bostic played well and hope he makes it ahead of Williams. SMC actually looked fairly decent and probably gets the 3rd LB spot. Vereen looked good and I hope he gets the start at FS. Ego and Sutton also played well so that's encouraging considering Ratliff was non existent and Paea was a mixed bag. This is still ST, and there is still on going battles. That 1st team D we saw get blown up could be completely different come week 1.

I knew things would be interesting here. It's preseason folks. Yes it's looked bad but I'm not gonna worry until it continues through week 4 of the regular season.

Might be wishful thinking on the returning side of things....He hasn't been a full time returner since 07. I do think he can be a quality #3 though...If he makes the team.

I wouldn't count on that just yet.....If Chris Williams is hurt to start the season I'd bet Weems makes the team. Yes he fumbled, but so did Spurlock. With Carey and Draughn looking like the 2 and 3 RBs, Ford looks to possibly be out of a job as well.

Def buying the Ball hype. Loved him in college, and the guy averaged 4.7 YPC last year, which was 9th in the league. With Moreno gone he becomes the featured guy. Denver will still obviously be a pass heavy team, but I wouldn't be surprised if he duplicates the close to 1600 yards of total offense Knowshon got last year.

It's Miller time! 6 receptions 68 yards and 2 TDs.....Hope he can keep it up into the season.

I wouldn't say Conte is still safe, all reports I've heard say Brock has a legit chance at starting. Ya, Wilson would be competition for Mundy....A ton of competition at safety in camp, should be interesting to follow.

The Fendi pipe dream has ended. Izzy is semi surpising. Johnson was #5 on the depth chart so no surpise there. Didn't even know Cattouse was on the roster. The 2 guys they signed don't look that intriguiing.

I've always thought he was a solid #3 WR and with the Browns need at WR I'm a little shocked by this. Perhaps his connection with Jay made him look a whole lot better than he really is. With Hixon done for the year I wonder if the Bears bring him back. I don't necessarily see the need, but apparently the Bears do since they signed Hixon/Morgan to begin with.
