On the move: Moving Cutler via designed rollouts was a key factor in last Sunday’s win over the Vikings and something that the quarterback hopes will remain in the game plan.

“It was great,” Cutler said. “We’ve got to keep doing it. We’ve got to keep doing it in different ways, showing different looks; get off the spot as much as we possibly can because it helps with everything. It helps the pass rush, get some easy balls out to the flat, out on the outside lets the guys run. It’s got to be something in our offense that we do more of.”

For as long as Cutler has been in the league his mobility has always been something those in the "know" have touted as one of his great strengths. We're now into year what , year six, and halfway into the second year with the current coaching staff with Cutler as our starting QB and it sounds like they found something new to play with??

I have always thought that most of us on message boards etc. really don't understand all the BS and stuff that goes on in Pro sports at any level. But really, it takes a so called QB wisperer and a whole fn coaching staff almost two years to think about letting your mobile QB roll out for a play or two a game??

I know there must be a ton of things that get put into play when your QB rolls out. But GD, Tim Tebow was allowed to roll out and try and make a few plays every game, if not every play.

But then almost everyone here has said the same thing at one point or another over the past years.

You're right Bill. We've asked those same questions . I for one am just as frustrated with it. Is the answer to having Cutler more mobile to what will help the O? That remains to be seen. The fact they are JUST NOW considering it is unfortunate .

Bill this is the same point a few of us have discussed already and what you are saying is completely accurate and really it is mindblowing. I really have zero faith in this organization at this point and believe drastic changes from the top down have to be made.
