Â You know it's pointless for you to point things like this out right? It's always another player's fault when Jay throws these. This was one part Cutler needing to do a better job of selling the play and one part the defender making a good play. If you recall a few weeks back where Jay threw a similar 'pick six' to Verrett (who jumped that play) when playing the Chargers. Â Generally speaking when a defender jumps a route it's a combo of seeing and recognizing a play from film or experience and/or the QB not doing a good job of diverting away from the play. Experience shows Jay has a tendency to lock on players to include during the play set up, which easily could have happened here. I think he see the writing on the wall himself, but hopefully they offer a modest contract to him. The Bears have a nice group of backs that will all want the rock. Competition is a great thing.
