Jeremy Maclin

WR Jeremy Maclin was released by the Chiefs today.

He's 29 and pretty darn good. Should we kick the tires?

He would fit in with the rest of the corp we brought in. Wheaton, Wright, Cruz all seem about the same.

He will have a lot of suitors and be priced high. He probably is a better WR than Cruz is, but I dont think we will pursue him.

Cruz was ranked 80th in the league in receiving last year

Macklin 92nd.

Cruz and Macklin are similar type players, with only one year age difference.

Thanks Stinger good points

I think we have enough veteran middling WR talent to ignore Maclin.

Preach. We're not trying to build the all star WR Crew of 4-5 years ago.

I agree on all the responses. That was what I expected and thought myself. But I was asking in case he is better than I think he is. I was wondering if anyone was going to argue that he's a stud. Seems no, and I got my answer.
