He seems like a player who could step in and replace Amos right away.  He's somewhat limited in coverage range but in his highlights I'd say he's better in coverage inside the numbers than Amos, and certainly has the hands to make a catch.  He's a good tackler and fits in well around the LOS.

Sounds a lot like Amos, but cheaper. 

I dunno about you, but I completely forgot Amos was a 5th round pick. So it is hard to imagine that we can't pick up a comparable guy in the 4th or 5th to do what he has done for a lot less money.

Possibly,  but if you miss, you have Bush to rely on. I think there is a lot of good safeties out there this year and only the first few will get big contracts.  I suspect that leaves Amos on a deal we could bring him back for. Then also draft one and build our depth.  We actually could do an upgrade at the position with the leftover ss may want to play on the top D in the league.
