TalkBears Keeper FFB League #1

Featured Replies

Sundays are best for me usually, they don’t like to pay double time.m, but with the injuries and hold outs, I would be better off with an autodraft ??, but I will try to make most things work. I’m in between calls so hard to tell when I will be free.

I am going to keep two people I really probably shouldn’t, but I am going to keep Devonta Freeman, he was a third lose a second, and Eldeman I got in the 10th and lose an 8th

Sorry I havent been on here.  We will likely decide on a draft date/time on either the Tuesday or Wednesday before the season season starts.  I edit the draft order when I put in keepers, it is the reverse order of last years standings.  I am keeping Golladay and Chubb and losing a 10 and 11 I believe.

Also, Adam thanks for all of your help with the league, it makes it a lot easier to deal with when other owners are active and help inform everyone.

No worries man, I know everyone is busy, so I just try to help out where I can.

Nope, you lose your 11th and 12th. You drafted Golladay in the 12th (lose a 11th), and Chubb in the 14th (lose a 12th).

Im going to change a keeper. I am going to keep Alshon Jeffery and Eldeman. It will cost me a 7th and 8th rounder(moving both up 2) or a 7th and 9th ( moving one pick up two and the other up 1) however that works. I drafted them in 9 and 10 last year.

I will be keeping Tyreek Hill (3rd) for my 2nd, and Courtland Sutton (16th) for my 14th. With a few of the top RB's and Mahomes off the board, that really slides some 2nd rounders up and I don't want to miss out on a top guy with my 3rd pick not until pick #29, so I am taking a huge chance on Hill reproducing his WR2 status from last year (2nd to Jones).

Keepers: T. Hill (KC) and C. Sutton (DEN)
Picks: 2nd (Pick #12) and 14th (Pick #132)

I will leave that up to the commish. I guess at the end of the day, losing 2 rounds with the first pick, and 1 with the second is worse than losing 1 round with the first pick and 2 rounds with the second. In your case, that difference (between the 8th or 9th round) will only be one pick (from 81 to 80) and since you have both of those picks, it literally has no impact to the draft other than potentially for a keeper next year.

So for the round ties (keeping two from consecutive rounds resulting in the same round), we could just swap the rounds to where the first pick loses 2 and the second loses 1. This was the exception we talked about on the league message board.

I couldnt get on the link to League safe to pay, anyone have any suggestions?

Try logging into Leaguesafe first.  Then go to the following link in another tab:

https://www.leaguesafe.com/league/3907935

If that doesn't work, close browser, reopen, log into leaguesafe first, then go to the join link:

https://www.leaguesafe.com/join/3907935

and see if that works.

Otherwise, try a different browser.

I don't think we ever officially specified if the player can determine which is their first or second keeper depending on the rounds lost, or if it automatically reverts to later pick loses two rounds and the earlier draft pick automatically loses one.

Unless anyone objects I say this decision can be left up to the owner this year and then possibly next year we finalize that the later keeper is 2 rounds and the earlier is one.

Everyone think that is fair?

I got the impression, that the owner makes the choice...or basically default to whatever costs the owner the fewest rounds...

That was the impression I got too, but it was a pretty confusing thread so I just wanted to make sure everyone is ok with it for this circumstance.
