If both are there in the 5th, do you go Wade or Terry?

8 picks until the Bears are up.

I think they need to grab a weapon for Fields.  Simi or Terry? Be fine with Wade too.

I dont think he is a LT, probably a G or a swing backup.

After reading on him, yes they say he is better suited to move to G.  Many WRs left, so they felt they need to shore up the oline.

Trey Smith OT Tennessee is mad.  Wonder why teams are passing him

Definitely either RT or G.   Could indicate we're looking to try Jenkins at LT.

NFL.com has Trey Smith listed as a Guard.

I agree.

I think they are covering permutations to coach them up and see what they can do. When someone can push Leno out, everyone moves up one slot :)

Leading up to the draft the consensus was we need a QB and tackles. Does this mean all of the board are behind what Pace and Nagy have done so far.

Whether they have done enough before today I still want them to succeed because if they do so does my beloved Bears.

Some gaps in the roster is like to see addressed in the 6th:

-NT - Goldman opted out last year and Nichols couldn’t do the job. Need a big body to rotate in.
WR - Someone for competition. Speed would be nice.

DT- there are a few decent ones.  Like the kid GB just took.

Marvin Wilson FSU, Marlon Tuipuloto USC,

Edge DE- Adetikunbo Ogundegi ND, Shaka Toney PSU

WR- still alot from above list.

Decent DBs still available too.

The Bears have pick 24, 37, and 44 in the 6th. I would love to see at least one WR and CB. Still a few decent prospects available. Some guys with 3rd and 4th round grades.

Some other names available:

Stone Forsythe - OT
Cade Johnson - CB
Shakur Brown - CB
Charles Snowden - Edge
Tamorrion Terry - WR
Austin Watkins Jr. - WR
Kary Vincent Jr. - CB
Patrick Johnson - Tulane
Shi Smith - WR
Tre Nixon - WR
Israel Mukuamu - CB
Demetric Felton - WR
Kawaan Baker - WR
Marvin Wilson - DT
Bryce Thompson - CB
Quincy Roche - Edge
Will Sherman - OT

Im not a draft geek like some of you here.  Don't watch any college football and have not watched more that one or two games a year.   I have read and watched a lot of Fields and Jenkins.  Love both even though both expensive trades.  We shall see.   Best thought on the L. Boron pick that's fits my knowledge.  From another site.

For decades, this team has been in dire need of a Larry.  I'm stoked."  #Larry.   Thank MVT13

Always a good time for a little humor.

Nice. I guess that OT was falling, and we sure don't need him now.

Would rather had a 2022 6th. The extra 7th just locks in someone instead of fighting for them as a UDFA. On trade value chart that's a loss but after the 5th, a pick is a pick.

Pace must be out of conviction to move down.  Hope he finds a WR gem, OLB, and DB.  He can grab Trey Smith OL and I'd be ok too.

There is the punt returner.

Good zone scheme RB too.  Has to make the team through ST early on

ugh. RB camp body.

For anyone who cares about BPA at all, it’s unfathomable Dylan Moses hasn’t been selected yet.
