KC free agents

Featured Replies

Since Poles was in KC, what cheap free agents could Ryan bring with him?

WRs Brian Pringle and Demarcus Robinson

CBs Chavius Ward and Mike Hughes

S Daniel Sorenson

None made significant money and Sorenson is the only one with age.  Pringle has 4.46 speed and has gotten better every year. Ward is a better CB than anyone on our roster not named Johnson.

No need for Sorenson, we already have Jackson back there in poor coverage and ready to miss tackles.

Larry Brown Jr is a free agent tackle - could be a great fit (expensive but you basically set one of them at tackle - hope Jenkins works on the other side and let Borom prove himself for another role.  Don't love the wideouts much at all - but will leave it up to Poles. I have seen enough mediocre wideouts and these guys just are more that fit that same list.

Here are a few more names:

Tyrann Mathieu, S
Jarran Reed, IDL
Chavarius Ward, CB
Mike Hughes, CB
Ben Niemann, LB
Demarcus Robinson, WR
Jerick McKinnon, RB
Derrick Nnadi, IDL
Orlando Brown, LT
Andrew Wylie, LG

and due to Eberflus, here are some Indy UFAs:

Eric Fisher, LT
Mark Glowinksi, RG
Zach Pascal, WR
Mo Alie-Cox, TE
George Odum, S
Chris Reed, LG

Was Glowinksi  a starter?

Looks like he started quite a few games. Here is the snap count % of the O-Line UFAs from KC and IND:

Orlando Brown, LT - 94.4% of snaps
Andrew Wylie, LG - 44.1% of snaps
Eric Fisher, LT - 78.5% of snaps
Mark Glowinksi, RG - 75.9% of snaps
Chris Reed, LG - 46.9% of snaps

Glow must have played for Nelson while he was hurt. Personally, I would like them to resign Daniels and play him at OC and bring in a physical guard for RG. You should be able to find one at 39 in the draft.

Based on Cunningham hire, here are the Philly UFAs based on snap counts:

Steve Nelson, CB - 87.2%
Anthony Harris, S - 74.2%
Rodney McLeod, S - 60.7%
Hassan Ridgeway, IDL - 33.1%
Genard Avery, LB - 31.8%

Based on Getsy hire, here are the GB UFAs based on snap counts:

DeVondre Campbell, LB - 91.6%
Lucas Patrick, LG - 81.6%
Davante Adams, WR - 79.4%
Chandon Sullivan, CB - 76.6%
Rasul Douglas, CB - 63.0%
Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR - 40.8%
Corey Bojorquez, P - 32.3%
Robert Tonyan, TE - 29.9%
Kevin King, CB - 28.1%

As OC he will shout out for a number1 WR. No way we're spending money on Adams. Can Christian Kirk be that guy?
