DJ Moore

Featured Replies

So after limited targets, they finally got Moore going. He now has 301 receiving yards (14th) and is on pace for 81 receptions, 1,279 yards and 9 TDs. This includes a game where Fields only passed for 99 yards.

15 of his 19 receptions have gone for 1st downs.

He is trending in the right direction, which is nice to see considering the season.

He did well yesterday against one of the best cover defenders out there. Props to Justin too FWIW.

He's a keeper and really good player. Mooney also played well and benefited from more targets going his way (vs. Claypool).  Moore is good though, Kmet is solid, Mooney is solid.  They need some more young players around him - maybe Scott can develop into a nice 3/4 wideout and than find another playmaker early in the draft.  Keep building the oline and obviously upgrade Dline....but if you do the above on offense - with Roschon and Herbert - I think whomever Bears have at QB next year is going to be in a decent spot.

I’d like to throw out an honorable mention to ESB too for his performance yesterday.  He made a pretty sweet sideline catch and was out there doing his part on blocking. And as Adam pointed out, all on his bday.  Much better production than Claypool.

Moore is a total stud. He gets open and he stays open, which is really rare. And he's a winner. The kind of guy that makes plays when they matter. Keep building the OL and DL is right DABEARS. We are on schedule. Especially with a rookie QB contract window just opening next year.

And I totally agree GRIZZ, ESB is a class act who gives a real effort. Claypool sucks. He has all the physical tools, but he isn't a football player.

The key is they have to see young guys develop and improve. That is really critical - cause this could get really really bad in which case you compound the negatives and we see a lot of bad habits created, toxicity, etc. All of that of course can change with a new HC with the right swagger and obviously right QB around them (whether Fields or someone else).
