This is from an old school coach that played defensive tackle at Penn State and was drafted by the Baltimore Colts in the late fifties. That being said, he never asked us to hurt anyone. He always demanded that we concentrate on destroying our opponents will to play. He always picked their teams' star. Good athletes don't want to injure. They want to hurt! Huge difference.
