January 3, 200818 yr comment_28653 Angelo and Lovie better be all over this. I think Turner would be gone by now if they had made a decision to hire a new OC. There is no point in waiting it out and letting him go later, the early bird gets the worm. Report
January 3, 200818 yr comment_28663 I'm usually one who doesn't like big moves or believe that there's a magical coach you can hire that will fix everything, but even I'll say that snapping up Cameron as the OC would be huge for the Bears. Report
January 3, 200818 yr comment_28665 I think Angelo made it pretty clear today that Lovie is in charge of his own coaching staff. Which means...nothing will change. Report
January 3, 200818 yr comment_28687 I wouldn't mind seeing him brought in at any position. OC, QB's Coach, Special Assistant. Report
January 3, 200818 yr Author comment_28698 Cameron might just take a lesser role for 08/09, and if that's the case, fire Pep Hamilton's ass and get Cameron in here as our QB coach and assistant HC. Report

The thing I really like is Cameron's ability to work with young QB's. That alone makes him an ideal hire for a team that will likely have Rex/Orton and a 1st day draft pick on the roster. However, the Bears seem committed to Turner and given Ron having really only one truly bad year as an OC in his career I can't necessarily fault the Bears. Report

January 8, 200818 yr comment_29155 Detroit has already scheduled an interview with Cameron, with the 49ers, Rams, and Cowboys if someone hires Jason Garrett also potentially on the list. Report
January 8, 200818 yr comment_29156 Didnt Lovie make it pretty clear he is keeping his coordinators? Cameron will be picked up as a coordinator soon. Hopefully not to the Lions. I also think I read somewhere that Joey Porter already called him a coward or something. Report
January 26, 200818 yr comment_30068 great move by the Ravens. I am sure he will be a huge improvement. They face some challenges in that their defense is getting very long in the tooth and they are in need of playmakers on the offense. Hmmmm, sould like a familiar situation, LOL. Fortunately, our defense still has a good base of youth. Report
January 27, 200818 yr comment_30094 Fantastic hire. This is one of the real good OC's in the league and he got sucked up by a team in dire need of some offensive direction. THey also will have to get some offensive skill players though cause an OC alone will not save there ship. Saunders is another very good OC out there right now as well. Report
January 27, 200818 yr Author comment_30103 I wonder what are the odds of Cameron pushing for a trade for John Beck. He doesn't fit in Miami's new scheme, IMO, and IIRC, he was Cameron's guy. Would cost the Ravens a 2nd or a 3rd plus some... Report
