I have no idea why the last draft is showing like that. There is a new designation setting for keeper status, and it looks like it believes all of last season's players are "keepers".  Just ignore and apply the same rules as we did in previous years.

Up to 2 keepers, if you have one, you lose the round before (so drafted in 4th, you lose a 3rd). If you select 2 keepers, the first player you lose two rounds (drafted in the 4th, you lose a 2nd, and the 2nd player you lose one round.

So that will be selecting by being the higher draft pick? I was going to keep 78 and 103, so the 78 would be the lost two rounds? Or can I just list 103 first?

It is a sliding scale, so it is 1-round for the first keeper, but if you want 2 keepers, the first one will cost you an extra round. 

So in your case, it would be a 6th round for #78 (which was an 8th rounder in 2024) and a 10th for #103, which was an 11th in 2024.

I just need to go back and make sure we don't have back to back keepers as they were drafted if you kept them last year, and are ineligible this year.

The problem is I dont remember which one was my keeper, the new list doesnt show it and the other post shows a bunch of keepers. I think it was T Hill/WR or K Williams/RB

I looked back at 2023 and the only common player was K. Williams, I think it has to be him.

I will try to look it up, I don't know what Yahoo did, but they messed it up big time.

OK, I will take a look, and I stand corrected on the keeper round cost:

The first keeper is one round, and if you keep a second, that one costs two rounds. The only exception is if that you are keeping 2 players that would give up the same pick (like a 5th and a 6th both would require your 4th rounder), so in that case it gets swapped and you have to give up a 3rd and a 5th instead (for that example).

I got his confirmation.

I had an interesting draft in my league that had begun it's 27th year.  I drafted Brock Bowers in the second round because he scored as well as the WR's available at that point.  Then, Trey McBride lasted until the 5th round, but was projected in the 2nd-3rd range and scored better than the WR's again.  We allow a flex so I can start them both.  Have y'all seen this before?

No, but I would jump on that in a heartbeat. 

In a keeper league Im in, we have one keeper and lose the round they were drafted in. My question: I have Bowers in the 7th or Bucky Irving in the 16th, who would you keep? Obviously Bowers is a lot better player but I can still get a good player at 7 where 16th round never gets a high end player.

Adam, one of my keepers will be Joe Burrow of which I drafted in the 8th round but my 11th round pick was Jason Smith-Njigba but I must have dropped him and picked up Ladd McConkey. Does that mean I can keep McConkey or cant use either player?

If I cant have McConkey in the 11th then I will take TJ Hockinson in the 13th. 

So Burrow and McConkey, if I cant have him then Hockenson in the 13th.

Yeah, only Burrow and Hock are eligible as you have to draft the player and they need to be on your final roster, so McConkey would not be eligible. 

So it would be Burrow for a 7th and Hockenson for an 11th.

Looks like now I just need Chad's, Mike's, and Scott's keepers if they have any. I replied to Scott's message in the League chat window with his eligible keepers. Scott can also edit his team's name if he wants to.

Scott said he picked one and Mike wants to keep Brian Thomas Jr that he picked in the 10th. I'll message Chad, he's in 6 leagues to remind him to pick one.

Good to go on Thomas for Mike and Bowers for Chad. However, for Herbert, Chad did not draft him in 2024, so he is not eligible as a keeper.

okay, I'll let him know. I dont think his roster has any good values left to take a 2nd one but I'll ask him anyways. He has a league with a live draft on Tuesday with the MyFantasyDraft website and has to do a big board physically.  So with the other 5 leagues he's in , he gets lost for time.

Also 3 weeks ago he was coming back from Canada fishing and totaled his vehicle but didnt get hurt.(lucky) So he normally would be paying attention more to his leagues.

Damn, he is lucky, that looks bad, and will definitely need a front-end alignment! Glad he is ok.
