Ben Johnson goes to Swift way too much. If he had Monangai in instead, they more than likely pick up that first down on the play before the 3rd down mess. They don't even feel like a top 5 offense right now, but they are. Yeah, this is the basis of my optimism that Caleb wont just be good but GREAT. Mediocre QBs are mediocre. Caleb is great on a lot of plays, and makes mistakes on others. Learning to eliminate mistakes is a lot easier than learning to be great. The numbers say we are pretty good - the eyes say we arent that good. That means there is tons of room for improvement, and that means exceptional is within our grasp. Also, Jarrett held like crazy by the center, and still got pressure. How do they not call a hold when the center is behind Jarrett with his arms around his waist? Put us too far behind the ball for the punting team. Dumb play with the points we had on the board. Cannot give them a small field. This next drive is critical.
