I believe he is a sleeper ready to step up and secure his spot on our roster. His game opportunities might not be great being behind odunze, burden, and Thomas and 12/13 personal, but he needs to show he can step in without missing a beat Report
June 18Jun 18 comment_234694 I was reading a short story posted today on bearswire.usatoday. Most stories from now until training camp will be rah-rah, worthless notes to fulfill their obligation to give us something to read. I did find this quote about Ben Johnson from Coby Bryant interesting and encouraging. With this attitude and experience as a team leader, on and off the field, with a Super Bowl team, I am beginning to think he could easily motivate our defensive players to play at the top of their game instead of bottoming out."I love it, honestly. He's filled with fire," Bryant said. "He's an offensive guy too, as well, but we have a lot of similarities hence that's why I'm here. He's a true competitor, every day he competes. He's like us talking junk to him and vice versa, he talks junk to us too (on defense), I match his energy every day and vice versa. It's been a special offseason." Report

1 hour ago1 hr comment_234708 Caleb has some growing to do - mainly executing the vanilla offense more efficiently. But anyone claiming he doesnt have "it" isnt watching or is purposely repeating a narrative. If you are a coach, and you have two players that need to improve to chose from, and one is Shane Matthews with a consistent completion percentage, throwing outlet passes for 4 yards a play, and the other is Caleb Williams who needs to learn to play within the offense a little more in the 2nd quarter, and hit the checkdowns a little more often, who do you think can be more easily coached to greatness? LOLAnyone saying Williams isnt the real deal is a moron. Does he have work to do? Of course, but what hes lacking is the easy stuff any QB can learn. He's a smart bet to succeed indeed. Report
