Wednesday at 12:55 PM2 days comment_236421 With the win in SEA, he is now officially a winning QB, at 20-19 for his career. He is already 9th in Bears history for Passing Yards and should pass Ed Brown, Billy Wade, Erik Kramer, and Mitch Trubisky by the end of the year to move into 5th all-time (in Year 3 lol). He even has a chance to pass Jim McMahon for 4th.He has the lowest INT% of any QB in NFL history for the number of games he has played. Every game played, he sets the new record for that amount of game and pass attempts. Pretty wild. The Year 3 leap is here. He already has 2x 300-yd games (had only 1 last year), 3 games over 70% Comp%, his best game last year was 67.9%. He has never thrown more than 1 INT in a regular season game under Johnson, and his last 2 INT game was the 3rd game of his rookie season. He has thrown a TD in 11 straight games (that he has finished) dating back to last year. From watching the MNF game and even the NE game, Caleb has total command of this offense. This feels sustainable, and with the addition of Simmons, the defense should be more consistent. Report

Explains a lot about the idiosyncrasies that bother people. He’s a huge fan of his mom and cannot fault him for that. And he has a very strong drive to win and wears his emotions on his sleeve. Good for him. Report

It's an explosive combination and you don't know if it will be controlled or not. His parents get a lot of credit for guiding him through that time. Then enter Ben Johnson and for the first time I think he ran into a football mind who really knew more about the game than he did. Say what you want about good college coaches but that game is not nearly as hard as the NFL. Caleb surprised me and accepted the challenge. I really like what I see now on the field and I still don't think he's at his peak. There are throws he makes like the simple WR screen to Raymond for the 40yd gain against Seattle that good athletes like Trubisky and Fields could never make. Especially Fields with his slow release. Then what he's doing at the intermediate level of the field is just tearing apart defenses. There will be a 50pt game in the near future. Report
