What do we do when a top 10 player drops to us?

Who do we take when Jenkins/ cb-fs Ohio State drops down to our spot.

we have the possiblity of Smith/ot Alabama being there.

The possibity of Maulaluga/Ilb USC dropping.

If any of these three drop do we take them?

I'd certainly take Maulaluga in a heart-beat!

Not sold on the CB, Jenkins.

Smith, also worth consideration for sure.

It'd be surprising if we take a linebacker. I wouldn't complain too much, but we have so many huge gaps to fill.

I'd be happy with Jenkins if we decided to move either him or Peanut to FS. I know we said we weren't moving Tillman, but that notion would likely change quickly if a guy we thought was a top tier player fell to us.

How about also adding: Sanchez and Oher as they were top 10 for a while.

If Jenkins, Andre Smith, Maualuga, Sanchez, or Oher were available, I'd cut it down to Sanchez, Smith, and Oher. With Tait retiring and St. Clair just a stop gap, I would go Oher in a heartbeat.

1. Oher OT

2. Nicks/Britt/Robiskie WR (like last year, WR's will start going in RD2 - hoping 1 of 3 makes it to us)

3. Rhett Bomar QB

3b. Nic Harris OLB

4. D. Bruton FS

5. Aaron Kelly WR

6. Louis Vasquez G

7. best FB available

I have a sinking suspicion that if we want one of those 3 WR's we are going to have to take one at 18...I see a big run at the end of the 1st beginning of the 2nd on WR's and they are the next level to go.

I'd certainly be in favor of taking Malcolm Jenkins if he fell to us and we were going to play him at FS. He'd be a great fit there.

I would rather draft Burton a true FS other than move Jenkins from CB to FS

I don't know. Many NFL free safeties are ones who were great college CBs, but lacked the speed or whatever to play CB in the NFL. Right now, that is the question on Jenkins, and why he could fall. In Jenkins, you have an elite tier player, and one who would likely fill a hole. He would fit as a cover two corner, or could be a FS. Either way, he would likely be a fit on our team and there is little question about the value.
