It looks like Israel Idonije is on the move.

The Bears' defensive lineman is in the process of shedding weight, according to a report in the Winnipeg Sun, and it's believed he will be used more at end than tackle this coming year. That's the reverse of what happened last offseason for the versatile veteran. Idonije added between 25 and 30 pounds this time last year at the direction of the team for a move inside.

I would suspect that with that happening DE wont be a high pick,unless a stud drops to us at 18. The spot open will be for a future replacement for Wali.

If there's one spot on the field that I actually want Angelo using a 4th or 5th round pick on...it's DE.

I think this will be a great help for special teams. Idonije was just ok at DT, and he's just ok at DE. But when he's at 270 he's a beast on special teams.

When he played inside he got very good pentration and had several batted passes. He needs to be on the field more and I agree he is an Absolute Beast on ST!
