There's a reason his nickname was Mount McKinnie. They grabbed a former LT from the Colts, who was replaced himself, to take the spot of McKinnie. He can't be in any kind of shape at all.

it wasn't that he was overweight, it was that he was massively overweight. Accoring to ESPN he was listed as a playing weight of 332 last year, finished the season at 360, then came to camp at 400. Plus his history of laziness was a huge deciding factor.

The thing is, he's good when he's in shape.

 

He's one of those guys you sign after week #2 when their contracts aren't guaranteed. Get him on the treadmill, and in case Carimi gives up 8 sacks in a game, you've got a replacement who is likely better then Omiyale.

Take this for what its worth as its been said the only coach who could ever get him to really work and care was Tice
